4 of the Best Skincare Products and Procedures to Treat Oily Skin
By Cher Sern Lim

The times that you wish you hadn't outshined competition was when your oily skin did all the shining for you. Regardless of age, oily skin is a fact some people have to live with. It usually is brought about by heredity or overactive hormones. Dermatologists say that hormone production stimulates oil production that usually seeps on to the skin. Controlling hormones or who your parents are can be way too tricky to manipulate. However, you don't have to put up with oily skin because there are ways to control it so that you can replace that shine on your cheeks or forehead with an even glow.

Notice that even the best skincare products for oily skin don't say "anti-oil". Instead, they come in the form of "oil-control" products because, believe it or not, fighting it makes it worse. Before you make the mistake of washing all the oil off your skin, read on to find out about the four best skincare products and procedures to treat oily types.

Cleanse

A best skincare practice starts with proper cleansing. If you find all the oil on your face all too yucky, there's no need to be too harsh on your face. The best skincare products aren't always the most potent. Dermatologists say that harsh cleansing only stimulates the body to produce more oil. When irritated, particularly oily skin, it acts up and becomes even more oily. Experts also suggest that oily skin is best treated with a gentle cleanser that scours through pores thoroughly. No matter how gentle your cleanser is, the best skincare practice is still to not over-wash your skin. Twice a day should be enough.

Tone

Next to cleansing, toning is the second best skincare practice that will help your skin get a healthy glow. Toners do the task of closing pores. For oily skin, smaller pores help control the flow of oil. When the weather is humid or hot, the pores open up to breathe and this usually causes more oil to come out of the skin. So keep your face cool or use a cooled toner that will control the oiliness of your face.

Moisturize

Step one was to cleanse. Step two, tone. Step three in the tips for best skincare practice is to moisturize. Oil and moisture are two very different things. If you're uncomfortable with how moisturizers feel on oily skin, then sacrificing a little comfort is a small price to pay. In fact ,oily skin has a slight advantage over other types because it locks in more moisture. The more you moisturize, the more it tightens and the younger you look. The best skincare products will help you moisturize your skin without making it oily.

Exfoliate

If your oily skin causes breakouts and form acne, don't run to anti-acne quick fixes. These skincare products dry the skin and don't stop oil from coming out. Dermatologists recommend a deep cleaning exfoliant once a week for a nice thorough cleansing and for getting rid of dead skin.
So whether your skin is oily or not, the best skincare products don't have to be fancy. What counts is that they suit your skin type. While oily skin requires you to be extra-high maintenance and careful with the topical products, it still holds true that the best skincare routine will include the right cleanser, a toner right for your pores, a moisturizer-preferably oil-free-and an exfoliant. Knowing that you can keep oily skin at bay, and how to control it, gives you that extra confidence boost to outshine others with not oily skin but a radiant glow.

Black Circles in Eyes - What Are the Causes and Cures?
By Kelly Purden

Having dark circles around the eyes are a big no-no when it comes to beauty and aesthetics. These dark circles around the eyes are sometimes called "eye bags" or "bags under the eyes". These dark colored eye bags do not appear attractive and usually cause longer stares and questioning looks even from strangers. All of us do not want to be in any of those situations. We want to look young, fresh and attractive in our own eyes and we definitely want others to think the same way too. There are many possible causes to having dark circles around the eyes which will be dealt with in this article. If you have tried out numerous ways which do not seem to work at all, then, reading this article will definitely be the answer for you. We will be revealing anti-aging products which really work and beauty steps to ensure a healthy, young looking skin.
Causes

The dark circles we sometimes see surrounding our eyes are caused by different reasons. The most common cause is actually traced back through genetics --- it is hereditary. When we say it is hereditary, it does not simply mean that your parents pass it on to you but actually made up of different factors.. Some people have naturally thin and more transparent skin than others.
The blood passing through the blood vessels often create a bluish color that may be seen through the thinnest skin: around the eyes.

The next cause of dark eye circles is stress and fatigue. If a person lacks sleep or is over fatigued, then the skin acquires a pale coloring thus making the blood underneath more visible through the paled skin.

Age is also another natural factor for eye bags. As one ages, the amount of collagen is our skin cells are significantly reduced, thus making the skin more translucent. Remember, the more translucent skin is, the easier blood vessels show.

Allergies like eczema and asthma may also be likely causes for dark eye circles. The dark color around the eyes may even be worsened if scratched or rubbed.

Lastly, dark eye circles may also be symptoms of medical conditions like bad blood circulation or excessive dehydration. In these cases, extra attention should be given.

Cures

The good news about dark eye circles is the fact that t can be cured. Although the exact level would be different for different people, it is very possible to significantly reduce the darkness especially with the latest and most effective anti-aging products.

The first remedy for dark eye circles is to apply anti-aging products like a cold cream. The components of cold cream help soothe the skin and vessels while increasing skin health. Another home remedy for eye bags is to apply anti-aging products with almond oil and honey around the eyes and gently massage for a few minutes. This method is done to lighten the skin around the eyes.

Another effective home cure for these eye conditions is to use moisturizing anti-aging products especially those with natural ingredients that directly contribute to the skin's benefit. Such ingredients are avocado oil, sesame, vitamin E and vitamin K.

Aside from anti-aging products that can work wonders for your eyes, it is also important not to forget the natural methods to take care of eyes and skin. Remember to drink plenty of water (ten glasses is advisable to those who want better skin). Sufficient and restful sleep is also necessary to provide the body enough energy to recuperate thus producing new cells. Eating healthy foods especially those rich in vitamins and minerals also do the trick. Remember, anti-aging products can do wonders for your skin but sleep, rest and good food will bring out the best in your skin and health.

Using Olive Oil Facial Cleansers in Your Skin Care Routine
By Jane Clay R.

There are many creams, lotions, gels and products on the market that should improve the overall health of your skin, moisture, nourish and revitalize your skin, however as you know many products in retail stores only contain chemicals, synthetic ingredients and unnatural substances that are not healthy for your skin.

Especially if you have sensitive skin you should not be using any chemicals on your face, because they can irritate and cause inflammation to your skin.

Olive oil facial cleanser is one of the most recommended options because it is natural and can help you improve the overall health of your skin without irritating, drying or harming your skin.
Soaps as cleansers are the worst option because they are made with fragrances, detergents, alcohols and other substances that harm the skin and soaps also dry your skin thus causing more wrinkles.

Olive oil will not leave your skin dry or oily, its a great facial cleanser, but a better option would be an all natural facial cleanser made with olive oil products and other organic ingredients that will not just make your skin feel better but will prevent skin aging and free radical damage.

For example CynergyTk will help you to improve the regrowth of collagen in your body thus firming your skin and recovering its smoothness.

Active Manuka Honey for example is a powerful antibacterial that improves your immune system, it cleanse and tight your pores.

So the combination of those natural ingredients with oil extract can result in impressive results.
Olive oil is very similar to our own natural oil and is the best plant oil your can use. So the combination of those natural ingredients with olive oil make it better than a facial cleanser.

Some people choose just to use a "oil cleansing method" like applying oil to the face and rub into the skin.

Click Here to Discover the Breakthrough Natural Anti Aging Creams that are changing lifes. If you have unwanted wrinkles, fine lines, and damaged skin visit the Best Anti Aging Creams to discover the shocking truth that now one else wants to expose.

Home Remedies For Stretch Marks - Do They Really Work?
By Kelly Purden

Stretch marks have been a problem for most men and women nowadays. These marks come about in the skin if it is extremely stretched, which may be brought about by various causes, such as rapid physical growth or hormonal changes. These changes eventually cause the skin to stretch extremely, and the skin, as a mechanism, eventually produces a high amount of collagen which is manifested through the appearance of the silvery scars in your skin.

Some expensive laser treatments and cosmetic surgery are available if you want to get rid of these scars fast. However, as what has been said, this can cost you a lot of money and, not to mention, undergoing through the whole process is quite painful.

There are more natural ways on how to remove these marks, but most people doubt on the chances that they will really remove these scars for good. Most of the people who have religiously tried applying these home remedies say that they work, so the others may just at least try these home remedies before splurging to the more expensive treatments.

First, maintain your skin's elasticity by having a proper diet. You can start with drinking eight to ten glasses of water everyday to replenish your skin's moisture. As we all know, there are a lot of reasons why our skin loses its natural glow and moisture. Aspects like too much sunlight and pollution can cause your skin to become dull and lifeless. Taking in water will help bring back the lost moisture of your skin. If your skin is thoroughly moisturized, there are chances that you will not develop a number of home remedies for stretch marks.

Second, observe a healthy diet. These unsightly marks can occur once you take in a lot of fat and cholesterol-enriched foods. If you are a person who does so, then better start eating more hefty servings or fruits and vegetables and only take in foods which are rich in fat minimally. Your skin will become softer and more supple because of the nutrients which can be obtained in these fruits and vegetables. Having a healthy skin is the main point against having these scars.

Third, you may settle for some home made topical creams, lotions and other similar mixtures whose ingredients are just obtain from your ordinary household. You may start off by rubbing olive oil or vitamin E oil in the affected area. Oils have always been known to restore moisture back into the skin. After a few weeks of applying these oils, you will notice your skin more visibly soft and the home remedies for stretch marks lighter. Another home remedy is mixing half a cup of virgin olive oil, one fourth cup of aloe vera gel, six capsules of Vitamin E and four capsules of Vitamin A. Mix all of these ingredients in a blender and apply the oil religiously in the area where home remedies for stretch marks have been occurring. This can help minimize the appearance of those ugly stretch marks over weeks of use.

Are you ready to learn about the best home remedies for stretch marks? Get Your Skin Back shows you the easiest and best way to hide those ugly stretch marks. Learn how to make your stretch marks disappear today at http://www.GetYourSkinBack.com/StretchMarks.htm

Skin Care Tips For Sensitive Skin
By Mei Susanti

Sensitive skin is not a medical condition. When a person says that he or she has a sensitive skin, it simply means that the skin is susceptible to allergic reactions. It can be allergic to certain products, foods or even the weather. As a result of allergy, the skin can become irritated, red, swollen or itchy.

There are many things that can trigger allergic reactions to a sensitive skin, think about the daily skin care and sanitary products you use. Soaps, shampoo, perfume, cleansers, toners, foundation, facial masks, after shave lotion, hair spray, detergent, fabric softeners and other household cleaning products can all contribute to the skin allergies. The list is literally endless.

Therefore, pinpointing what causes skin allergies may not be easy as it may take hours or even days for the sensitive skin to show the signs of allergy. Some people are only allergic to the hot weather and exposure to sun, others show symptoms of allergic reactions after eating certain foods.

Sensitive skin can also develop due to excessive sun exposure. You will tend to have sensitive skin if your skin was damaged due to excessive exposure to sunlight. This is one reason why some people who don't normally have sensitive skin develop skin sensitivity during the winter months; when dry, cold air strips the skin of its protective moisture.

If you have a sensitive skin, here are what you should do in order to properly care for your sensitive skin.

1. Visit a dermatologist to check if you have eczema, psoriasis or rosacea. Eczema is one of the most common skin problems for children. It is a condition of dry and extra-sensitive skin.

2. Avoid products that contain alcohol, ethanol, fragrances, antibacterial, botanicals and propylene glycol. Make sure you read the product labels to find out the ingredients. All these ingredients are known as a general skin irritants.

3. Spot test any new facial products before applying to your face. Apply a few dabs behind your ears for 5 days, and if there's no reaction, apply beside eyes for another 5 days. If there are no symptoms of allergic reactions, that means the product is safe for your skin.

4. Choose natural fabrics for pillowcases and washcloths; they are safer and feel much better. Go for 100% cotton, linen, or even silk. Stay away from synthetic fabrics that are made from Polyester or Rayon.

5. Eat a balanced diet to ensure skin gets the nutrients it needs, drink plenty of water and exercise regularly.

6. Always apply sunscreen when going out and keep your skin moist.

7. Use gentle cleanser and gently clean your face twice daily. Avoid harsh and abrasive exfoliating products.

Why Real Organic Skin Care is a Natural Winner
By Yves Lortie

Many cosmetic companies are started to jump on the band wagon of natural and organic skin care. According to a recent article by the Associated Press, "Despite a softer U.S. economy, the Natural Products Association estimates the industry is growing five times faster than the conventional personal care product sector." Unfortunately, organic is just a nice attractive word to add to their labels unless the company manufactures products without harmful toxic chemicals and synthetic fragrance.

Evaluate your organic skin care products carefully before applying anything to your skin. All those ingredients will be traveling straight to your blood and brain as they are absorbed through the skin.

Beware of advertising language and look farther into the actual ingredient list of products you use. Perhaps a few ingredients may be natural or organic but then they are ruined by processes designed to make them last longer, smell better or look prettier. Many companies call their products organic skin care but still use preservatives such as paraben, alcohol and toluene routinely and without apology. This is wrong and not healthy for you or your skin.

Real, authentic organic skin care will be made from natural ingredients as close to their natural state as possible. No preservatives, or pesticides or herbicides will have been used to grow or process these ingredients. Indeed, the products will be actually good enough to eat, No damaging toxins will have been used to produce, package or decorate these organic skin care products.

Choose a manufacturer that excludes any questionable ingredients when it comes to safety. The big offenders are easily identified by their complicated chemical names and often numbers associated with the multi-syllabic nomenclature. Stick to simpler words and you will be in better company. One example here is glycerine. It is a very common humectant in cosmetics. There are however plant-based glycerine and petroleum based glycerine. The plant- based form is good for you and your skin. You will only find it on the label of authentic organic skin care products.

A reputable organic skin care company will insist on rigorous laboratory testing and research. More money used for product development than that consumed by advertising is another good clue to a superior product and result for you, too. Scientifically formulated products, with high quantities of high quality ingredients of plant origin are the best. That way each ingredient works in synergy with the others to care for your skin. Enhance your natural beauty with natural, plant-based creams and lotions. A win for you and the environment.

Yves Lortie is an avid health enthusiast who has been concentrating his research on natural skin care over the past few years. Visit http://www.clear-skin-and-body.com/ to find out more about high quality natural skin care products.

Common Treatments For Poison Ivy
By James D Adams

Poison Ivy is widely known across the United States to be a very common skin rash. You can get it from going hiking, camping, fishing, or any other outdoor activity. Most of the time people do not know that they have came in contact with the plant until there skin starts to itch badly.
Poison Ivy is found in most forest like area's, where there is not much human activity.

There is a whole list of different common types of treatments for the skin rash, like using a towel with cool water to lessen the itch from the rash. In some cases though the rash becomes uncontainable, and gets out of control with huge blisters appearing on the skin, and oozing different liquids. In these cases of the rash you should consult your family doctor as soon as possible. Most of the time the rash does not escalate from just being a harmless itch with redness. Some doctors say you should rub ice on the skin to help remove the sting, and the itch from the rash, or maybe even a oatmeal bath with cool water, they also say this way of treatment helps to soothe the rash.

There are a lot of home treatments for the rash, there are different itch soothing creams out there you could use to help the process of healing the rash, and getting rid of the itch and burning sensation. If nothing has worked from all of your home remedies, you should definitely consult your doctor, for you might be having a allergic reaction to the rash, and in these cases the rash can become very harmful.

Natural Skin Care - Surprising New Discovery
By Therese Higgins

I know you're not surprised to read that natural skin care continues to be promoted as the best approach for maintaining the health and beauty of your skin. What may surprise you, however, is a new discovery that is promising to take natural skin care products to the next level. This discovery is an extract of sea kelp called Phytessence Wakame.

While this exciting discovery may be new to us, the truth is that the health-enhancing properties of sea kelp have been common knowledge for centuries...by the Japanese people. Sea kelp has always been a part of the Japanese diet, both in fresh and dried form. Add to that a diet rich in essential fatty acids (from seafood), daily exercise and lower stress levels from strong community support systems and its easy to understand why people in that part of the world never seem to show their true age. Natural skin care is a way of life for the Japanese people.

But this doesn't mean that you are excluded from the benefits of natural skin care just because you live in the Western part of the world. You may not care to make sea kelp a daily part of your diet but you can certainly benefit from its inclusion in natural skin care products. Researchers have found that Phytessence Wakame enhances the health of your skin in several significant ways:

1. Phytessence Wakame is loaded with B-complex vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6 B12) as well as iron, postassium and calcium. These vital vitamins and minerals are key to maintaining moisture balance and keeping your skin nourished and healthy.

2. Phytessence Wakame is capable of blocking a damaging enzyme in the body called hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase attacks and breaks down hyaluronic acid, which your skin must have in order to maintain smoothness, firmness and elasticity.

3. Phytessense Wakame contains an active ingredient called sulfated polyfucose which has been found to protect the skin against damage caused by UV rays and environmental pollution. As a result, the development of fine lines and wrinkles is prevented.

4. Phytessense Wakame has been shown to be effective at healing inflamed, irritated and dry skin. The result is an even-toned, luminous complexion.

Another great thing about natural skin care products that contain plant-based ingredients like Phytessence Wakame, is that they're safe to rub into your skin. Most skin creams on the market today are made up of synthetic chemicals that can be potentially harmful.

So now that you know about this surprising "new" discovery, why don't you treat your skin to this ancient natural skin care secret used by women of the Orient who know a thing or two about beauty.

Article written by Therese Higgins - "There are many reasons why you must be careful when choosing the best skin creams, but there's one which as to rank as the most important of all." Visit http://www.positively-radiant.com/#exactline1 to find out what it is.

Skin Care Moisturizing Cream - Should You Be Using One
By Mike Iredale

There are several ways to help protect your skin, for example drinking plenty of water each day, protect your skin from the sun, eat foods that will replenish vitamins and minerals, keep fit and finally use a skin care cream. Consider the following points.

Point #1 Because the skin has a massive surface area and the body comprises roughly 70% water it makes good sense to keep well hydrated. We often see sensible people who exert themselves doing exercise and sport for long periods drink plenty of water to hydrate so they don't suffer from heat exhaustion.

Unfortunately many people think its only athletes who need to drink water and don't do so themselves. Health experts recommend drinking up to eight regular glasses of water per day for optimum health benefits.

Point #2 Can you imagine the damage caused to your skin when you expose you head and arms to the hot sun playing sport for four to five hours without some form of protection. People do this every weekend for years thinking it will be okay and no damage will occur to them. Well speaking from experience be assured it will surely catch up with you, your skin will dry out, possibly crack and become itchy, get scaly dark blotches and white age spots.

Some of these dry skin scales change and grow and you tend to scratch and pick at them, often they come off and sometimes bleed. If your skin is already damaged by sun and wind exposure have regular skin checks and keep an eye open for any unusual skin changes.

If your going to be out in the sun for long periods wear a sensible hat which covers your face and neck, get a long sleeve shirt to cover your arms and apply some form of skin care cream or sun block out lotion. When you finish the game use a skin care moisturizing cream to get some moisture back into your skin and help repair any damage.

Point #3 Dare we ask? What sort of diet do you have, are you the greasy Joes type eating lots of hamburgers and French fries and getting overweight. Or are you the rabbit type eating a few lettuce leaves hear and there so you don't get fat. Sounds silly doesn't it? but this is how a lot of people eat day in day out.

If you want to have nice clean good looking skin you need to eat right with a sensible balanced diet full of grains, vegetables particularly the dark green kind and lots of different fruit selections. Our bodies also need small amounts of dairy and meats, however try to use products with low or no cholesterol, saturated fats and excessive sugar.

Point #4 This is the one most people don't want to know about, yes its exercise! How many times do you promise yourself you will start that exercise program tomorrow, the next day you make the same promise, again and again we do it then we don't bother anymore and the exercise program is dead and forgotten?

If you want to feel good, look good and be energetic you need to exercise your body. You don't have to be a world beater or become an Olympic athlete just start doing a small amount of exercise to get your heart rate up, body moving, maintain strength and stretch to keep nice and supple.

Point #5 Do some research to find a skin care cream that suits your needs, there are thousands to choose from. These days we are becoming very environmentally aware so common sense would suggest you consider using a natural skin care moisturizing cream.

Mike Iredale advocates living a long natural healthy life; he researches health and natural skin care products to help both young and old. To learn more visit his site now at http://www.best-health-skin-site.com/ to find out which company he recommends to give you the best results.

What Are the Foods That Help Prevent Wrinkles and What Else Can Help?
By Pamela Brooks

You've heard the all too familiar saying you are what you eat. Well that goes for your skin too. What you decide to put on it absorbs and inevitable becomes a part of your body. So, just like you want to eat good foods to keep you healthy, you want to choose foods that help prevent wrinkles, and keep your skin looking its best.

Look for the following foods that prevent wrinkles. Many people rub cucumbers, bananas, sea weed, and even egg yolk on their skin hoping it will absorb the natural ingredients from these foods and help nourish the skin. Well it's true that these and many other natural ingredients can help reduce wrinkles, and keep your skin looking youthful, and healthy, but foods that help prevent wrinkles can also be found in skin care products.

How? Every time you apply a product onto your skin some of the active ingredients are absorbed through your bloodstream, so in a way you are ingesting the ingredients in your skin care product. That's why it is important to find a skin care product that has all natural ingredients; it should have ingredients that are safe enough to eat.

Foods that help prevent wrinkles should be full of antioxidants and vitamins. These nutrients can help fight damaging free radicals in the body.

It should contain no preservatives like paraben, nor fragrances, allergens, or harmful chemicals of any kind. These can wreak havoc on your body, causing damage that is not easily repaired.
A good ingredient to look for that fits all the criteria above for a healthy, and natural skin care product is Cynergy TK. This incredible ingredient is literally ingested by your skin. It is made up of a functional keratin that mimics the natural proteins found in your skin. Therefore it works like liquid skin, resulting in dramatic skin rejuvenation.

Another ingredient that is derived straight from a great health food is phytessence wakame. This ingredient is derived from Japanese sea kelp and is often referred to as the beauty preserver. This natural extract helps moisturize your skin and can give your skin back its radiance and natural glow.

Remember, just like you find foods that prevent wrinkles to eat, you need to find skin care products that are safe, natural, and healthy. This way when your skin "eats" the ingredients it can truly have lasting beneficial effects on your skin.

Pamela Brooks has been studying the skin care industry for over 15 years. She is a regular contributor to http://www.skin-and-health-care.com/ a site covering the very best quality skin care products on the market today.

You should cut down the intake of other drinks containing alcohol and soda. Similarly, fruits and vegetables also play a very vital role in helping you achieve good results for your skin. Fresh fruits and vegetables help in both ways by making your skin healthy and beautiful and simultaneously balance your weight. Soy is very good for a healthy and beautiful skin. Soy contains high quality protein that builds and maintains collagen, the material which provides firmness to your skin.

Another important way to keep your skin fresh and healthy is to keep it hydrated. With hydrated skin, you will certainly look more attractive. Water is the best source to keep your skin hydrated but at times it is not sufficient. Good moisturizers are easily available which provide nourishment and softness to your skin. A good moisturizer should contain vitamin E and a special nutrient called Rigin, which deeply hydrates the skin around the face and neck and gives it firmness. The best way to check whether your skin is dry or not, is to just scratch your arm with your nail, if it leaves a white mark, it shows that your skin is very dry and needs to be treated with a good natural skin moisturizer.

With these healthy tips, you can discover a new look. If you didn't think of following these tips before, it's never too late. Just start eating fresh fruits and vegetables and apply a good moisturizer that your skin requires. Always remember, everything needs care and your skin needs a lot of care from you because if you have a good healthy skin complexion, you will also feel good about yourself.

How to Get Rid of Bags Under Eyes
By Jenny Wall

No-one wants to go out in public with bags under their eyes; it shows lack of sleep, stress, and anxiety. Wrinkles around the eyes and face, as well as dark circles and puffy eyes are a clear indication of this, as well as aging.

How to get rid of bags under eyes

Over the years many methods have entered the health and beauty market for getting rid or fark circles. You'll have undoubtedly have heard of a couple of methods, such as applying cool tea bags or cucumber slices to your eyes.

The tannin that is found in tea bags is used to try and reduce the discoloration and swelling of the eyes. Cucumber on the other hand can help reduce puffiness and refresh the skin. However, these methods aren't always convenient and take a bit of preparation.

The best eye creams will help get rid of dark circles and bags under the eyes significantly. The ingredients used help to rejuvenate the skin with ingredients that are lacking, such as vitamin K (which can cause dark circles) and retinol. Research has shown that skin creams can reduce puffiness and discoloration drastically, especially when used daily.

Eating a healthy, balanced diet is also important, and of course not only relates to eyes but the whole body. This is also true for drinking plenty of water to help improve circulation. If you smoke, the blood vessels can appear more prominent and bluer, so quitting smoking is recommended, for general health also.

Rather than doing these methods, a lot of people tend to use cosmetics to cover up dark circles with a concealer. You can of course do this but it does not remove the underlying issue. You'll still have visible circles and fine lines when you aren't wearing makeup, when around the home for example, and will have to put up with the inconvenience of applying concealer just for popping out down the shops. For this, and many more reasons, it's highly recommended that you invest in an effective cream to get rid of dark circles.

Check out the best eye cream available for removing dark under eye circles.

Best Nightcreams - 6 Good & 6 Bad Ingredients
By Margaret Bell

A nightcream can be very beneficial. But the best nightcreams are sometimes hard to identify. What ingredients should you look for? Which ones should you avoid? Let me give you a little help. You should learn what ingredients are good and which ones are bad. Keep this article handy until you know what to look for. Read the labels and know what they mean. It's your skin's health.

It's always best to look for skincare products that are free of allergens like preservatives and fragrances. But, it is particularly important when it comes to a nightcream. Why? There are several reasons, really, but primarily it's this. Restful sleep is very important to your appearance.

If the compounds in a nightcream cause irritation, your sleep will be disturbed. During sleep, your body goes about repairing damage that has been done during the day. You want to look for ingredients that support this "rejuvenation" process, not interfere with it.

The best nightcreams contain no artificial preservatives or fragrances. The worst contain as many as five different preservatives, including a number of parabens. But, it's not just preservatives and fragrances that should be avoided.

6 Bad Ingredients in Night Creams

1. BHA-a possible human carcinogen

2. Petrolatum, paraffin, liquid paraffin, mineral oil-byproducts ofgasoline production, may be contaminated with carcinogenic substances interferes with skin rejuvenation

3. Triethanolamine-toxic to the immune system, the respiratory system and the skin

4. BHT-toxic to the immune system, the skin, the endocrine system and the nervous system

5. Eugenol-toxic to the immune system, possible carcinogen

6. Triclosan-known skin irritant, probable carcinogen, restricted in Canada and Japan

You might think that these toxic ingredients are uncommon, but the truth is that some night creams contain three or four of them. The best nightcreams don't contain any of them. Actually they don't contain anything that wouldn't be safe enough to eat.

After all, you're sleeping with it on your face. How likely is it that some will get in your eyes or on your lips and in your mouth. Many of these chemicals will penetrate through the pores and enter the bloodstream.

6 Good Night Cream Ingredients

1. Shea butter-a natural moisturizer that softens and soothes, fades scars, blemishes and age spots, helps to smooth out wrinkles and stretch marks

2. Avocado oil-similar in composition to the skin's own oils, stimulates collagen production, relieves dryness and itching

3. Manuka honey-a very active variety that is rich in antioxidants, stimulates immune system function, promotes healing, prevents infection

4. Coenzyme Q10-antioxidant, reduces wrinkles, increases collagen and elastin production

5. Natural vitamin E-antioxidant, effectively preserves the quality of the oil, so that no additional preservatives are needed

6. Babassu Palm Wax-helps lock in moisture, prevents dirt from clogging pores, effective moisturizer

It may be hard to find a nightcream that contains all of these ingredients, but it's not impossible. If you really want the best nightcreams, it is well worth your time and effort to look for them.
My research did find the one skin care product line that has only good, safe ingredients - that gives excellent results.

Now that you know what to look for in nightcream and what to avoid, find the right product and get a good night's sleep. See resource box. You'll be glad when you are using the best night cream.

Best Over the Counter Night Cream - Compare Night Creams Using These 5 Easy Tips
By Sabrina Fox

Trying to figure out the best over the counter night cream can be confusing. After having done extensive research I've come up with 5 tips to help you compare night creams so you can select the best over the counter night cream for yourself.

I looked at many products and found out what the bad products had in common along with products that got results for their users. If you follow these tips you'll be on your way to selecting the best over the counter night cream.

Tip #1 - When you compare night creams you need to examine closely the list of ingredients - Many people just take a friends word, a glossy magazine, ad or a TV infomercial about a product only to find out it doesn't work or it makes their condition worse. Every ones skin is different, and may be sensitive to certain chemicals. Never buy any product until you find out what is in it.
Tip #2 - Stay away from harmful chemicals - Harmful chemicals are the main ingredients in many night creams. Stay away from any products that contain the following, alcohol, mineral oil petroleum by product), fragrances, parabens which include methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl paraben. Some products made by well know manufactures use triclosan which is classified as a pesticide.

Tip #3 - Products that claim to use, botanicals, natural, or organic ingredients may not be the best - Smart marketers know the buzz words and will use them to get you to buy their products. Natural plant based organic ingredients are best however, they must be in a concentration level that will work. One drop of a natural ingredient doesn't do much good. You want to see active natural ingredients in concentrations of at least 50%.

Tip #4 - When you compare night creams look for products that contain the latest cutting edge natural ingredients - If you want real results and the best over the counter night cream use products that contain Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 is a natural 'nano-emulsion' form of CoenzymeQ10, natural vitamin E, active manuka honey (which comes from New Zealand), avocado oil, and shea butter.

Tip #5 - The best over the counter night cream come from companies who have signed The Compact for Safe Cosmetics - This is a pledge to not use chemicals that are known or strongly suspected of causing cancer, mutation or birth defects in their products. Some well known companies who have refused to sign it so far include Avon, Estee Lauder, L'Oreal, Revlon, Proctor & Gamble and Unilever.

Bonus Tip - Many European companies have signed the pledge - One country (New Zealand) in particular has shown a commitment to using the safest, natural ingredients in the right concentrations. When you compare night creams look for products coming from New Zealand. Right now they produce the best over the counter night cream and skin care products.

Visit http://www.greatskintips.com/ to find the best over the counter night cream and skin care products that really work using all natural ingredients from New Zealand. Expert author Sabrina Fox has done extensive research on natural skin care to save you time and money. Visit her website mentioned above for more valuable free tips.

What Does 100% Pure Skin Care Really Mean?
By Andrea Marshall

It's hard to find 100% pure skin care creams and lotions. You can't tell by reading the label. You can't rely on manufacturer's claims. But, if you want holistic skin care and the utmost purity, there is help.

The Environmental Working Group has created a cosmetic safety database called Skin Deep, where you can find out what the products you are using actually contain. They have evaluated a large number of products, but some of the newest ones have yet to be listed.

Other consumer advocacy groups are also trying to help by asking manufacturers to sign the "Compact for Safe Cosmetics". Manufacturers that have signed the compact adhere to the European Union's stringent standards for safety.

Regulations in the United States and many other countries are so lacking that a company can say that they provide 100% pure skin care solutions, without testing them for safety. No manufacturers are required to test for effectiveness.

There are only a handful of lotions and creams on the market that are completely safe and only one company that I know of that adheres to holistic skin care ideals. The company is a signer of the compact for safe cosmetics, but the products are new and as yet to be listed at Skin Deep.

I have the utmost confidence in the company because they have been in business for years and provide some of the best health supplements, available. They adhere to a holistic skin care philosophy, which I believe requires a little clarification.

The philosophy of medical care that the phrase refers to views physical and mental health aspects as closely interconnected, in other words, the whole person is considered, rather than just a single symptom or condition. For example, stress plays a role in skin conditions ranging from acne to eczema.

Those of us who adhere to this philosophy would only want 100% pure skin care products, because contaminants, allergens and toxins can be absorbed through the skin, causing health problems ranging from minor rashes to cancer. We also want fragrance-free products, because constant exposure to added fragrances is irritating. But, those fragrances can also cause mental disturbances, such as anxiety and depression.

In order for a company to adhere to the holistic skin care philosophy, they must take all of these things into consideration. If they also want to provide an effective product, they have to complete clinical testing. If they want to provide 100% pure skin care, they should only include ingredients that are safe enough to eat.

Believe it or not, holistic skin care can also be anti-aging skin care. By addressing the issues that affect the health and beauty of your face and body, they also prevent the common signs of aging, such as sagging and wrinkling.

To protect the skin's health and have lasting beauty, you need natural plant oils and botanical extracts, as well as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. All of those ingredients add up to 100% pure skin care that is also a hundred percent safe and effective.

The Best Way to Treat Dry Skin Beneath Eyes
By Dr. Valerie Rosenbaum

Do you have dry skin beneath eyes? If you do, you are not alone. A lot of people, including a fairly large amount of youngsters, suffer from this problem. Dry skin, especially in the eye area, can be really irritating and can make you look dull. A lot of people, including men and women, seem to have this problem at a fairly young age. The good news, however, is that it can be taken care of easily.

Before we proceed any further, you should understand the cause or the reason behind dry skin beneath eyes. So, let us talk about that a little bit. As you know, your skin has oil glands which secret sebum to keep your skin soft and moisturized. However, the skin around the eyes does not have as many oil glands as other parts of your body and hence it is prone to become dry quickly. Especially during winter, the skin around your eyes becomes very dry. As you know, dry skin can lead to various problems like wrinkles, dark circles, and flaking.

Some other reasons for dry skin around eyes include allergic reaction to certain chemicals, excessive use of cosmetics, and bathing for a long time. Initially, it might not seem very obvious but in just a few weeks, you might notice a considerable change in the area around your eyes.
Your eyes will start looking dull, you will have dark circles, and you'll look a lot older. In more serious cases, the dry skin around the eyes might start itching, might redden, and give you a burning sensation. So, the sooner you take care of this problem, the better it is for you.

The best way to take care of dry skin around eyes is to take good rest and apply some good skin care product. The tricky part, however, is choosing the right skin care product. Or in this case, a good eye cream. The most important thing you should know about eye creams is that you should be very, very careful in choosing them. Like I already said, eyes are the most sensitive part of your body and you should not apply anything unless you are very certain that there is no risk involved.

Let me give you a very important tip about eye creams here. There is an ingredient called Eyeliss, which is almost considered a miracle ingredient. Rumor has it that a lot of Hollywood celebrities use eye creams with Eyeliss as it is proven to be very, very effective for dry skin around eyes. So, look out for an eye cream with Eyeliss. Also, it is always better to go for organic products instead of artificial cosmetic items.

So, there you have it people. The best way to treat dry skin beneath eyes is to get a good eye cream or eye gel which is both safe and effective. Remember the tip I gave you and get the best product. Then, see the results for yourself.

Your Hot List to the "Greenest" Paraben Free Facial Moisturizers and Hand Creams
By Al Bracher

Did you know having dry skin is high on the list of what makes your skin age? To hydrate your skin, a paraben free product can help. You might have to look hard for paraben free facial moisturizers, but the time and effort will be well worth it. When you find a product that's pure and made with the highest amount of active quality ingredients you will be in luck. Many new products are organic, fairly traded and include paraben free hand cream and makeup.

Lately, the trendy topic of green living has produced a number of new products. But that doesn't mean they will be paraben free. That's something extra you must be on the lookout for. First of all a good moisturizer product will do everything from gently adding moisture, to sealing in the moisture you already have in your skin. Some even help your skin produce more moisture.
Paraben free facial moisturizers are a gentle way to nourish your skin. When you use products made with preservatives like parabens you can actually clog your pores, which can lead to dry skin. Now that's really defeating the purposed isn't it?

Just look at some of the latest natural skincare products being used and you can see why people are forgoing parabens. Some of the hot green products on the market include solutions made with bearberry. It's a flowering shrub that flourishes throughout the United States and is quickly emerging as a popular skin toner and brightener. And the goodness all starts in the leaves of this plant where something called arbutin is found. Arbutin is an offshoot of the skin lightener hydroquinone.

Like the previous mention product, you should embrace natural ingredients and steer clear of the heavily perfumed moisturizers on the market. Some skincare companies are searching far and wide to find solutions. Case in point: Acai. The little Brazilian berry offers big anti-aging benefits. It's a good ingredient being added to the latest paraben free facial moisturizers. Acai berries are rich in emollients such as essential fatty acids and phyto-sterols that help retain moisture and give the skin's surface strength.

The same process explored above holds true for your hands, as well. But you need to take more stringent steps to protect your hands. In fact, according to dermatologists your hands are not only susceptible to the first signs of aging, but very often age even faster than your face. The reason that occurs is that the skin on the back of your hand is much thinner than the skin on your face. In turn, it is much more open to aging and wrinkling.

To protect the skin on your hands and nourish them at a higher level, a paraben free hand cream can help. An age-defense body lotion or hand cream made with mineral oils and no heavy parabens are being made by quality cosmetic companies. Take the time to find these products to live a greener life.

Having suffered with psoriasis for over a decade, Al Bracher has extensively researched skin care products to find ones that actually work. See the results of his research on and discover the very best natural skin care products on the market today.

By Dr John Anne

Feet are considered the most neglected part of the body. Many a time people complain about the cracking heels and some problems regarding feet but all of these cracked heels is very common problem that caused both men and women. This problem generally occurs in winter season due to the dry weather conditions.

Cracks in the skin on heels are commonly known as heel fissures. They usually occur when skin becomes dry and aggravates the thick, brittle calluses on heels. Daily routine includes many tasks like standing, walking on feet that places enough pressure onto brittle skin that small cracks open in the epidermal layer of the skin.

Causes of cracked heels
-Cracked heels are a common occurrence for senior citizens or people who are constantly on their feet thus exerting pressure on the feet pad. It can affect either either the heels or one of the heels. But most commonly, cracked heels affect both the feet.

The problem is caused by the deficiency of vitamins, minerals and zinc. Climatic conditions can also be responsible for the problem of cracked heels. Person who is overweight may increase the pressure on the normal fat pad under the heel and this cause this to expand sideways and if the skin lacks flexibility the pressure on the feet lead to cracked heels.

Symptoms of cracked heels
-The person who is having heel cracks may have red and flaky patches on the feet's skin. The skin started peeling and itching also occurs in the area. In the extreme conditions bleeding occurs from the cracks.

Home remedies for cracked heels -Generally, this is an aesthetic problem but some patients experience deep cracks that feel painful and can even bleed or get infected. So as the days grow colder, take the following steps into account when your feet start cracking under pressure.

Generally applying a heavy layer of creams and lotions relieves the problem but using some items that can be easily got in the kitchen can cure this. To get rid of cracked heels you should apply a ripe banana on the heels and leave it for 10 minutes to dry. After 10 minutes wash it of with water, this remedy will prove helpful in providing relief from the pain of heel cracks.

You can soak your feet in the lemon juice for 10minutes and try the therapy once a week this will provide you an instant relax. A regular application of a mixture of glycerin and rosewater is good and valuable to soothe and cure cracked heels.

By Pablo Castrel

We are all different in some way, including our skin types. In a given family you may find different people with different types of skin characteristics, varying from very oily, moderately oily to downright dry skin. How to care of oily skin is what will be the concern in this article.

You know yourself, you know your skin type. If you have oily skin you just cannot go to the store and buy a product that says "good for all skin types". You know for sure that is not going to work for you. You have to be careful in selecting your products. You should only consider buying product that says "for oily skin", else you may find yourself having some adverse reaction that will cost you in time and money to find a solution to the reaction.

How to take care of oily skin is to treat your skin gently by washing, specially your face at least two times a day with a cleanser containing salicylic acid that will slow down the gland that produces sebum, making your skin less oily. You should consider washing a bit more in hot humid weather or after you have been exercising.

If you notice that your skin is getting extremely oily, you can use an alcohol based toner followed by a oil-free moisturizer on the skin to neutralize the effect and not allow the skin to get too dry either. Mind you even people with oily skin gets dry skin under certain conditions. The Basic Steps For Treating Your Face Naturally
By John Gibb

Face creams, moisturizers, soaps and other skin care products are a regular way of life for many people. As part of a regular skin care regimen, these products can be a major benefit when it comes to keeping your skin looking soft, smooth and toned. But they are only part of the overall equation, and their benefits depend heavily on what ingredients they contain.

Every day our skin, particularly the skin of the face and hands, is exposed to a number of irritants. Everything from house and garden care products to clothing and other fibers and even tap water, can take a toll on sensitive skin. Natural face cream can be a big asset in fighting the effects of this daily damage to our skin.

No matter how effective the skin care product, before you apply anything to your skin there are several steps you can and should take to ensure that your skin remains as healthy as possible. The first is eating a healthy, balanced diet. The proper nutrients and fluid from natural juices and water keep your skin properly hydrated and well toned. Face creams will only be able to do so much if you aren't feeding your body properly on a regular basis.

Along with eating well, getting proper exercise helps to keep the entire body fit, including the skin. As exercise improves circulation and strengthens muscle tone, it in turn helps the skin to receive the nutrients it needs and fight off toxins. Natural face cream which contains antioxidants can further help the body rid itself of free radicals and other toxins, leaving it healthy and toned.

Washing is another key to proper skin care. The skin needs to remain clear so that pores can breathe and circulation remains normal, but washing too much or with the wrong products can be just as harmful as not washing. Face creams will only be effective if the skin is first cleansed gently with all-natural products.

Also important to the health of your skin is avoiding environmental irritants such as smoke, household chemicals and particularly the sun. Nothing is more damaging to the skin than sun exposure. Wearing sun block and using natural face cream with an SPF of at least 15 will help to protect your skin from the sun's damaging rays.

When it comes to choosing skin care products, start with the list of ingredients. Face creams which contain at least 50% natural ingredients, including kaolin, plant based oils such as macadamia oil, shea butter and vitamin E will be the most effective in combating skin problems and leaving skin soft, smooth and toned.

Good health is important to all of us, and keeping your skin healthy can have a positive effect on the rest of your body as well. Eat right, exercise, avoid the sun and use only all-natural skin care products and you'll be helping your skin to look and feel better. You only get one skin, it's up to you to make sure it lasts a lifetime!

Best Night Cream Reviews - What Cream Should You Buy?
By Georgina R. Clay

As we go on with our lives we need to take care of our skin by following a daily skin care routine to clean tone and moisture. Failing to do so will cause you premature aging and other skin problems in the near future, a good skin care cream should be able to nourish, moisture and protect your skin from toxins.

Using a good day cream that contains anti oxidants is important in order to avoid free radical damage and keep your skin healthy and smooth, however most people don't take advantage of the night. While you sleep, your skin is relaxed and can easily absorb the necessary nutrients that it need.

You should use a good night cream in order to continue to protect your skin while your sleep and give your skin the necessary substances that will rejuvenate it and keep it wrinkle free.

Before you buy a skin care night cream i recommend that you search of the best night cream reviews to read what results have other customers achieved. You might read some positive and negative reviews, but the most important thing is that the cream should be safe to use.
Don't take this advice lightly, there are many popular creams that contain cheap chemicals that hurt the skin in the long run, for example parabens, petrolatum and alcohols will only create more sin problems because your skin can not naturally absorb those substances.

Instead you should look for anti aging night creams that contain natural ingredients such as vitamins A, C, D, E, plant extracts, flowers, seeds, natural oils, etc.

There are a few night creams that contain potent anti oxidants, can moisture your skin and reduce wrinkles and fine lines some of the ingredients that contain are:
Manuka Honey
Avocado Extract
Shea Butter
Special Emollients for night use.

Those in combination with other powerful anti aging ingredients like CynergyTk, CoenzymeQ10 and Phytessence Wakame, have the power to improve your skin appearance dramatically while you sleep.
