Eczema may not have 1 cure-it-all solution but there are many small things you can do at home to alleviate or even cure the condition. What are some home remedies for Eczema? Here are some tips you can use:
1. Wear cotton clothes - Clothes made from all sorts of chemically made fabrics are more likely to induce itchiness. You may also be allergic to a certain fabric without even knowing it.
2. Try to avoid cow's milk - Many people are allergic to cow's milk and they don't even know it. Try soy milk for a week and see how your skin reacts.
3. Try to avoid using detergents or other chemicals in your laundry. You may be allergic to them or to some chemical within them.
4. Some citrus fruit may induce outbreaks of Eczema - Try to cut out citrus fruit from your diet for a week or so and see how you fare.
5. You can try to alleviate inflammation by spreading blueberry leaves lotion on the affected area. You can get this remedy at most health stores.
6. One Eczema home remedy you can use is try to change your soap. Often, your skin develops an allergy to a specific brand of soap. Just by changing it you may find your condition greatly improved.
7. You can try and buy Turmeric (can be found in health stores) - Taking these pills has been reported to help a lot of people. It is unlikely to provide a complete solution but it can help.
