Sometimes people have the craziest solutions for preventing eye wrinkles. I had a woman and her husband tell me just last week that the single best way that they have found to prevent eye wrinkles was applying Preparation H to the area around their eyes. After a little bit of research I was shocked to find that remedies such as these are pretty commonplace.
What I think is a real shame is that people have to try to come up with home remedies for preventing eye wrinkles, because the cosmetics industry cannot formulate a product that will give them the results that they are looking for. If you are one of these people who are putting hemorrhoid ointment around your eyes because it's more effective than the products that you've been buying I want to tell you that there are better solutions.
I say this because what you are doing when you use an astringent to prevent eye wrinkles is temporarily masking them. Tightening up your skin for a few hours may make you feel a little better about the way that you look, but it is doing nothing to solve the problems that caused you to seek treatment in the first place. These underlying problems are going to have to be addressed in order to truly solve your problem.
The reason that you have to find a solution for preventing eye wrinkles in the first place is that certain processes in our bodies begin to slow down as we age. These include the ability to produce collagen and elastin, the ability to efficiently remove fluid and hemoglobin from our eyes, and poor circulation. All of these factors play a part in why we appear as we do when we age.
There is a formula that was created by a company in New Zealand that produces all natural anti aging creams and lotions that is able to prevent eye wrinkles by returning these declining processes to normal. They do this first and foremost by providing you with an ingredient known as Functional Keratin that greatly increases the production rate of both your collagen and elastin.
Another ingredient that they use for preventing eye wrinkles is a sea kelp extract from Japan called Phytessence Wakame. What this ingredient does is that it returns your skin's levels of hyaluronic acid back to normal. This tissue was not lowered by declining production, but instead was being broken down by an enzyme in your skin that the sea kelp extract deactivates.

Preventing eye wrinkles is better done with the right tools, and through the use of products containing these ingredients you are going to accomplish removing all of your lines and wrinkles, and not just the ones around your eyes.
