Aloe Vera As Anti-Aging Skin Care Solution
By Ruddy Gunawan

Skin cells would make you look old, faster or sooner. This is nature's law and nothing we can do to stop it. But of course we can at least try to prevent our aging process as hard as we can. Who doesn't want to look as young as 25 when our age actually is 35? Now let's try to get some examples.

The best people who can use anti-aging solutions are celebrities and models. Everyone always look younger than their real ages. People like Angelina Jolie and Heidi Klum still look sexy and pretty despite of their real ages (more than 30). Compare them with most housewives. You know what I mean? I don't talk about their photos in magazines as lighting plays very important role in magazines. I'm talking about their real skin (beside of make ups).

So how to make your skin smoother and younger? It's a bit difficult to find a good skin product. Don't get scammed by advertisements on television and internet. Find the real skin care solution. If you ask me, I recommend a product which contains aloe vera. This is essential. Aloe vera is probably the most valuable product in skin care industry. It has been clinically proven as the best method to make our skin look younger and better.

Aloe vera gels, juices, or pills all have their own advantages. If you are looking for instant solution, go for an aloe vera pill. Aloeride would be your best bet for this one. Anyway, not all products with aloe vera are good for your health. Some of them only use 2-3 drops of aloe vera extract and they use the other ingredients. Better be careful because these "other ingredients" might harm you.

You can learn more about aloe vera as it can help you to prevent aging. Try to read about aloeride as well, the best aloe vera pill.

Tightening Loose Skin
By Lucinda H. Becks

Can you tighten loose skin naturally?

I believe yes! There are some circumstances, of course, that someone could be left with a large amount of loose skin that will shrink back, but very very slowly. What causes this? Anyone who has weight loss surgery or looses weight quickly on a fad diet will find that their skin has a droopy appearance. The cause of this is one of two things, the first one is that the person lost not only fat, but muscle tissue leaving the skin with little to hang on to. The second reason why there seems to be excess skin is that there is body fat trapped under the skin.

Most plastic surgeons will tell anyone that loose skin can never shrink back.

This is a myth! If someone lost weight without exercise, or they still have body fat to lose then the skin can shrink back. It is important to lose body fat and replace the fat with muscle while losing weight. If you were somewhat overweight and lose less than 200 lbs, chances are your skin will shrink back. Skin is an organ, that has the ability to expand and contract thanks for collagen. Collagen breaks down over time and with age, but typically those who lose a lot of weight are not over 60 or 70 years of age unless for medical reasons.

What can you do about your loose skin?

Strength train! You may still have body fat to burn, but it's important to start an exercise and strength training program. Following a slow carb diet is important because your body needs real food to gain muscle. Even if you're a women do not be afraid of gaining muscle, this will provide you with the sleek and flawless look you've always dreamed of. Muscle will give you curves and a feminine shape.

Free Loose Skin Report will provide you will more information on how to prevent and tighten loose skin.

Shea Butter - Is it Safe?
By Dr. Robyn Tisdale Scott

You have probably heard about the many benefits of Shea Butter. It is used for many different things such as dry skin, irritation, muscle aches, chapped lips, dry hair, and many more.

However, some of you may wonder - how safe is it? Can you rub it on your baby's skin to keep it smooth and healthy, or to prevent diaper rash? What about on your lips, to heal chapped lips or prevent cracking and drying?

Well, not only is it safe enough to put anywhere on your body; it is safe enough to eat! Yes, if you purchase the healing and unrefined version with no additives, perfumes, or anything else, you can eat it straight out of the container. You are probably thinking, 'No, I don't think so.' Well, you probably wouldn't want to eat your favorite skin care product, but there are some interesting ways to eat it that you may not know about.

The Shea Fruit - Shea Butter is made from the kernel of the Karite tree. Before it is made, the Karite tree produces a fruit. It is a green-orange fruit which is about the size of an apricot. It is deliciously sweet, and high in vitamin C and other nutrients. When the fruit is eaten, there is a kernel left over. This is what is used to make the Shea Butter that we love for our skin!

Chocolate - It is used very often in chocolates. In fact, most of the Shea Butter produced is not used in cosmetics. It is used in a variety of different foods, chocolate being the main one. It is often used in chocolate as a substitute for cocoa. In fact, it is used very extensively to make fine European chocolates.

Cooking Oil - In the Western Savannahs, it is melted and used as cooking oil. It is much healthier than other types of cooking oil, and is flavorful as well. When melted down, it provides a thicker liquid that is perfect for frying foods. This is just another way that people eat it.

Butter - In Japan, it is often used over butter or margarine. It can be spread on foods the exact same way, and is much healthier and tastier than butter or margarine. It has a deep, rich nutty flavor that is loved by a lot of people. It can even be used in baking to replace those unhealthy additives. People love it for the flavor and also the obvious health benefits of using it over regular butter or margarine.

Shea Butter is more than just great for your skin. Knowing that it is safe enough to eat is important. You no longer have to worry about which kind of cream and moisturizer you can use for your baby's sensitive skin, your chapped lips, or even your face. It is something that can be used for a ton of different things. Thanks, Mother Nature!

Cracks at Corner of Mouth - What Are They?
By Michael Porteous

Having a cut, lesion or sore in any place that is constantly moving makes it hard to heal, painful and aggravated. Cracks at corner of mouth are some of the worst because they are not only painful and frustrating but look ugly and make it hard to eat, smile, frown or any facial movement that involved the lips and mouth.

So what are cracks at the mouth corners and what are they caused? The technical term for this condition is called Angular Cheilitis, where angular refers to any area at a corner and cheilitis is a medical term for inflammation of the lips or oral areas. This is made worse sometimes because these cracks can become infected by a fungus Candida albicans also known as Thrush. This combined with the constant movement and the constant wetness of the mouth make this condition very hard to shake once it gets a foothold.

To avoid succumbing to this condition having good nutrition and oral hygiene is the key.
Deficiencies in certain vitamins such as riboflavin, vitamin B12, and iron have been the primary causes of Angular Cheilitis and a change in diet may be needed for those at risk.

Wholegrain cereals, meat, poultry and fish are good sources of dietary iron and vegetarians do need to be vigilant of their iron intakes that can be lower that meat eaters. Foods rich in riboflavin include beef liver, milk, low-fat yogurt, cheese, enriched-grain foods, whole-grain foods, eggs, and green leafy vegetables. Vitamin B12 is also another found in many meats leading us to a conclusion that vegetarians that suffer from this condition may need to take supplements for vitamin intake.

This can help you prevent the condition but to remove cracks at corner of mouth once you have the problem is a different story!

To discover how to heal Angular Cheilitis and prevent it from ever coming back to plague you again click below.

Tips For Younger Looking Skin - How to Get a Glowing Complexion
By Tracey A Edwards

Looking at pictures of models in magazines is enough for anyone to get skin envy, and while most of those pictures are helped by lighting, good makeup techniques and re-touching, it is possible to get glowing healthy looking skin yourself with just a few simple steps.

Today's lotions and potions are now more effective than ever at ridding any dullness on the skin but of course having a strong foundation of good nutrition, healthy cosmetics (no nasty toxins to clog pores) and lots of water for hydration is the best starting point.

Exfoliate
Your first step to a luminous complexion is to get rid of any dead skin cells that are clinging to your face. While normal cleansing will get rid of some of the dead cells, you really need a scrub or exfoliant to speed things up.

A good exfoliant should have ultra fine smooth particles that will transform your skin without irritation or redness and leave the skin glowing. Using an exfoliant or one of the new at home micro-dermabrasion products such as Nutrimetics Ultra Care+ Micro-Dermabrasion Kit once or twice a week will renew your radiance in no time.

For those with sensitive skin, using a facial peel crème with salicylic and glycolic acids will gently remove dead skin cells revealing younger looking skin underneath without any harsh scrubbing that may irritate some skin types. The benefit of using a facial peel crème is that they are also very effective at clearing pore blockages to leave your face smooth and radiant.

Moisturise
After exfoliating is the best time to follow up with a moisturiser. The new visible skin that you have revealed will glow if it is adequately hydrated. Dry skin can often look dull in comparison.

One of the best ways to moisturise new skin is with a serum or elixir as these ultra light moisturising systems give an immediate hydrating boost to new cells and can restore the skin's natural moisture balance very effectively giving an instant younger look.

Taking care of your skin doesn't have to take a lot of time or be difficult, in fact if you follow the lazy spa girl's fun weekly tips you can have soft beautiful skin at home in a fraction of the time.

Dry Skin Therapy - How to Get Great Results
By Sabrina Fox

By the time you finish this article you will have a great dry skin therapy that works. There are many dry skin remedies and products, however, many of them only offer temporary relief.
Some of them if you are not careful can make your condition worse.

Dry skin is caused by many factors, weather, age, failure of skin to hold moisture, and dietary concerns. Here are a few tips to use to correct dry skin and keep it feeling and looking great.
Any good dry skin therapy begins with replenishing the body with healthy liquids. Pure fresh water, and organic fruit and vegetable juices are the place to begin. Any dry skin remedies that don't include this will not give you long lasting results.

Make sure you DO NOT use a dry skin therapy cream that is made up primarily of harsh chemicals such as alcohol. Alcohol is a cheap filler ingredient that will actually make your skin drier. Many brand name dry skin remedies claim to use healthy ingredients however they use them in such small amounts that they don't do you any good.

Instead of using messy outdated creams, consider switching to a deep active hydrating mask to begin with. This will help moisturize and give an extra boost in nourishment to your skin. Some key ingredients in a deep active hydrating mask should include Avocado and Macadamia Oils as well as active Manuka Honey from New Zealand. One other very important ingredient is Rigin™, which has been shown in clinical trials to deeply hydrate the skin around the face and neck, and make it firmer and softer.

You want these products in concentrations of no less than 50% to achieve maximum results. By maximum results I mean helping the problem in the short term to give you some relief while correcting the problem in the long term so it doesn't return. That is a real dry skin therapy.

After using an active deep hydrating mask, then you start using an age-defense active day cream that is specially developed to significantly reduce the visible signs of aging. It should contain high concentrations of unique, natural plant based and active ingredients to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and make your skin softer and younger-looking.

A good dry skin therapy at a minimum should include the items mentioned above. If your skin is severely damaged you may need several other products to get it under control. This could include a restorative night cream which contains high concentrations of active ingredients that will work to rejuvenate your skin while you sleep. An eye contour gel may also be used.

In conclusion, there is no one single dry skin therapy product that works by itself. Remember any dry skin remedies you use should be used with a program of drinking pure fresh water, and organic fruit and vegetable juices for optimum results. Make sure any dry skin therapy product you use contains high concentration of plant based natural and active ingredients.

Beauty expert Sabrina Fox has done extensive research in dry skin therapy. See the only dry skin therapy and skin care products with the right concentrations of natural and active ingredients she recommends to get the best results. Also, get valuable free tips at: http://www.greatskintips.com/

Best Wrinkle Cream For Your Skin - A Guide to New Skin Care Products
By John Gibb

New skin care products are coming out very frequently. This gives us an almost limitless choice of products when it comes to the best wrinkle cream for your skin. If they are new, they will be better or more effective. This is not necessarily true for all skin care products.

Manufacturers put an untold amount of time in to, advertising, and attractively packing their products. Unfortunately some companies may not necessarily do the necessary research on the effectiveness and safety of the product. The results can lead to skin irritation and acne. Signs of aging will likely occur with ineffective or harmful product ingredients.

Each product is said to be better than any competitor and this is the only product that will prove effective. Some products are merely cosmetic meaning that they may actually make your skin look smoother and wrinkles disappear. When it is removed, your skin will have not changed at all. This may be true for existing as well as new skin care products. Be wary of claims that may seem to good to be true. Another ploy used by manufactures is to include just enough of the ingredients that are known to work, so that they can legally be listed on the product label. It is likely not enough to be of any significant benefit and it will not be the best wrinkle cream for your skin.

In choosing new products, it would be to your advantage to have some inkling as to which ingredients are beneficial and those that may be potentially harmful.

Let's look at a few of the harmful ingredients first.

Think about how you would not knowingly put anything that can damage your health into your body. The same should be true about any product you use on your skin (the largest organ in the human body).

Mineral oil when applied to the skin acts like a barrier that prevents the skins ability to get rid of toxins while at the same it does not allow the skin to "breathe". It is also known as paraffins, paraffin wax, or liquid paraffin. Prolonged use of mineral oil can cause dryness.

Dioxane is an synthetic that is derived from coconut and is known in California to be carcinogenic. Parabens are used as a preservative to lengthen the time products can last on the shelf. Parabens may cause cancer and interfere with the endocrine system. Alcohols dry the skin and they will also destroy its natural acid mantle. Fragrances are not necessary and they themselves may have harmful ingredients. Be sure to stay away from products that have any of these if you want the best wrinkle cream for your skin.

Now there are three active ingredients. These ingredients together make the strongest skin care compound available. It is not enough to simply have these ingredients in a product. They must be present in high concentrations to gain benefits from them.

Coenzyme Q10 or Co Q10 is a very strong antioxidant that will attack the free radicals in your skin. In this form it cannot penetrate the skin. The nano-emulsified form called Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10 does easily penetrate the skin - 7 layers deep.

An exotic kelp from the Japanese Sea called Phytessence Wakame destroys the harmful enzyme called Hyaluronidase. This enzyme destroys the skins Hyaluronic Acid. Without this, the collagen and elastin fibers break down and lose their "glue".

Cynergy TK is a new substance that actually helps the body re-grow its collagen as well as elastin. This helps to keep the skin firm and flexible. The result is fewer lines and wrinkles as well as smoother looking skin.

When choosing new skin care products, always be sure to check out the ingredients. When you find a product you are interested in, do a search on the company, especially if there have been any issues with their products. You may have to try a few before you find one that does what you want. Some companies offer free trials and/or free samples, but a reputable solid company is very important if you want to use and apply the best wrinkle cream for your skin.

Steam Showers Are Great For Your Skin
By Jane Worthington

There are lots of ways to improve the condition of your less-than-par skin. You can try medications, creams and lotions. You can change your diet, stop eating salty peanuts, and make an attempt to control the stress in your life. These are all variables that may or may not help clear up your skin problems. However, anyone with skin problems is probably more than willing to try all of these things, religiously, for a mere hope that it will help, when maybe the answer has been with us all along.

Of course we all know how important water is to our well being. We know we need to drink a lot of water in order to survive, we know it's important to bathe everyday, and we know rain water helps keep our planet healthy and nourished, and we all know without it that we couldn't survive. It isn't until recently that we started exploring new ways that water in other forms can benefit us as well. For example we know all about the benefits from liquid water, like boiling it for cooking, and freezing it for ice, but what about other forms, like vapor and steam?

Not only can it help power engines, but believe it or not, steam can work wonders for the body and soul. Steam Showers are the latest use of water. They are powered by a generator that is either under the unit, under the bench (if applicable to your model) or in a nearby bathroom vanity. The wetness and heat from the shower, which is typically about 115 degrees, and the 100 percent humidity that comes along with it, is extremely healthy for your skin. It opens and cleans pores, and allows the facial muscles to relax and repair themselves.

People often characterize their favorite part of their gym experience as the end. The end part where you get to relax in the soothing Steam Shower part. It allows the body to unwind, and relax. Imagine having one of these in your own home. It can open your mind to a whole new world of possibilities, which under the right circumstances, will include clearer skin thanks to our very own Mother Nature, and the wonders of her water.

If you would like more information on steam showers or where to find steam shower units for your home, please visit the Unlimited Showers website.

The Benefits of Facial Sauna
By Dante Rambaldi

Saunas came to the world by way of Finland. The Finnish people first built saunas in the sides of mountains. Stones were heated to supply the heat, and water was dripped on the stones to supply moisture. The saunas of old were certainly a far cry from modern-day saunas. Today, there are saunas in every health club and gym across the land.

Saunas work by heat being used to raise temperature so that sweat is produced. Sweat cleans the pores from the inside out. Full-body saunas are available for private use, and even saunas that can accommodate several people can be purchased today - if you have the financial wherewithal to make such a purpose. Most of us don't.

While a full-body sauna is better, a facial sauna is still very effective for cleansing the face, and most of us can afford a facial sauna. They really aren't that expensive. The facial saunas that are available on the market today are small electrical appliances that are intended for personal at-home use.

A facial sauna not only will clean skin completely and thoroughly from the inside out, but will open the sinuses and relieve congestion at the same time. A facial sauna is a kind of two-for-one treatment - beauty and health. Facial saunas are easy to use. There is an electrical heating element in the bottom that heats water to the boiling point and produces steam. Steam rises and surrounds your face, causing your face to become warm and making it sweat. Sweat opens the pores and takes the toxins and waste to the surface of the skin.

When you use a facial sauna it is important to remember that you need to clean your face after use and then you need to use cold water to close the skin pores.

Prickly Heat Rash
By Dante Rambaldi

There is an old saying about skin irritations and rashes. "If it is dry, wet it. If it is wet, dry it. If it doesn't get better in a week, see the doctor." Heat rash is a common problem that isn't in the least serious. Infants and young children are most often affected, but adults can and do get heat rashes as well.

Heat rash is caused by the obstruction of sweat glands. Sweat glands can be obstructed simply by clothing that is too tight or does not let air circulate around the body. Heat rash is simple to prevent and simple to cure. When the skin is not properly ventilated, sweat that would normally come to the surface of the skin evaporates collects under the skin. A heat rash is the result.

To prevent heat rash, do not wear clothing that binds during hot weather, and don't put clothing that binds on small children. As often as possible and for as long as possible, allow infants to not wear diapers during very hot weather. It might be heresy, but old-fashioned cloth diapers are better for a baby during hot weather months. The disposable diapers are all contained in plastic shields that prevent the adult's clothing and the household furnishing from becoming stained and soiled, but do not allow air to circulate around delicate little bottoms at all.

There are hundreds (maybe thousands) of products on the market to treat heat rash. These products are available over the counter and without a doctor's prescription. There are products to heal heat rash made especially for infants and small children.

An inexpensive and effective product that you most likely have sitting on a kitchen shelf is baking soda. You can apply baking soda to a heat rash dry, or you can make a paste with baking soda and water and apply it to the rash. It will cool and dry the rash.

Skin Care Cream That Works on Dry Skin Will Have at Least 3 Ingredients That Heal From Within
By William Leonard

Has this ever happened to you? You develop dry skin and your hands begin to crack, but as you reach for your favorite skin care cream you suddenly realize that ... this cream that you are using again and again is actually not fixing your dry skin. It is just treating the symptoms.

A short time later your face and hands are once again dry, rough and beginning to crack.
Wouldn't it be good if your skin care cream would hydrate your skin but also treat the underlying causes of dry skin?

Then you'd have a cream that would make your skin better and less prone to dry out. It'd be a skin care moisturizer cream that heals from within.

Creams and lotions that will do this ARE available. You've got to look at the labels and do some study, but you can get them.

So maybe this is a good time to look for an effective, deep-healing skin care cream to replace the one you're using again and again.

What makes the difference in a good skin care cream is the ingredients. The most effective ones contain vitamins, plant oils and enzymes.

Vitamin E definitely helps when you've got dry skin.

Its a natural antioxidant that has been repeatedly proven to work well. And like good antioxidants it removes harmful free radicals -- which reduces signs of aging, like wrinkles.

Another good antioxidant is coenzymeQ10, or CoQ10, so look for this one also.

Its found in many products, but choose those that use only the naturally derived nano-lipid form of Q10 as this will go deep down through the layers of your skin and work for you over a long time.

Grape seed oil is ideal in skin care cream because it's light and forms a shiny protective skin on your skin surface.

You won't see that layer, but it will keep out dirt and hold moisture in. Which will be good for your dry skin.

Also it is an antioxidant, containing polyphenols, proanthocyanidins, and resveratrol which attack free radicals and remove lines. And it contains fatty acids essential to skin health, and is a natural moisturizer.

Grape seed oil is worth finding in skin care moisturizer cream.

So, in conclusion, do yourself a favor and look for a skin care cream that has ingredients which work deep down and heal from the inside out. They're out there and in fact I recommend one at my web site, elegant-skincare.com. Actually, do yourself a real favor and have a read at my web site right now. Because there's lots of good information about this topic there that people find helpful.

William Leonard is writing expertly on skin care and skin care products at his web site. Click now to read more about skin care and see his recommendation for a skin care cream that works.

Are You Benefiting Thanks to Your Skin Care Cream?
By Laurel Levine

Let me tell you a quick story....

This article, like at least one popular ad for the hydrogen-fueled car, calls attention to the world's most abundant liquid-water. During a search for information on proper skin care moisturizer cream, these words show-up on the label of the best skin products. Yet, if exposure to water can dry the it, why should skin care cream contain a moisturizer?

Good care of the skin includes the use of products that can reverse the aging process. A satisfactory cream replaces the oil that can disappear the surface if it is becoming thinned and may be starting to wrinkle. Aging reduces the number of blood vessels in the skin and causes it to become more fragile.

It should thus come as no surprise to learn that for older adults who desire good care, the following phrase must be viewed separately as synonymous: skin care moisturizer cream. When a cream contains a moisturizer, then that cream has the ability to delay the natural aging process. The daily application of a good cream can prevent the onset of problems.

Parents should realize that skin care habits, like eating habits, should be acquired early in life.
Parents should not hesitate to introduce a child to the basics of properly taking care of it, thus it would become as familiar to that young child as a bottle of milk.

A moisturizer can help the skin in one of two ways. Some moisturizers actually put a seal over the it. That seal then holds moisture in. Still, not every one acts as a sort of "sealant."

Other moisturizers improve skin tone by adding water it. Such moisturizers release water from particles in the moisturizing cream. The cells slowly absorb that water.

Adults with aging skin generally need a moisturizer. Still, some youth find that they too can benefit from using a moisturizer. If you think that you have dry skin, check it 20 minutes after taking a shower. If it feels tight, you know that your skin texture will improve, following the regular use of a moisturizer.

Perhaps you make a point of applying sunscreen or sunblock to your skin each time you go
outside. If that is the case, you might want to buy a sunscreen or sunblock that contains a moisturizer. That added protection should reduce the speed at which it undergoes the natural aging process.

Today many seniors like to travel. Today, one can hop on a plane in a warm climate and travel that same day to a cold climate. Travelers who set out on such journey should not take a vacation from good skin care. They should pack an extra-heavy cream.

Whether traveling or at home, adults should never forget to value the association of the words: skin care moisturizer cream. Adults should purchase body and hand soaps that contain a moisturizer. In addition, adults might want to moisten their skin with a lotion during the summer.

Research and development leads to continued improvements in top-quality cream. Adults have good reason to learn about such improvements. Adults should become familiar with the words "collagen" and "elastin."

Those two proteins give to skin its firmness and elasticity. A good product contains collagen and elastin. A good care product limits the number of wrinkles on the skin and prevents the formation of sagging.

Knowledge of skin proteins can facilitate the attainment of adequate skin care. Skin care moisturizer cream is but one of the vital ingredients in a good product. If that product lacks important proteins, it might do little more than fill-in the crevices created by skin wrinkles.

A good skin care cream alters the biochemistry in the each skin cell. It allows it to assume a more youthful radiance.

Beware of Hazardous Ingredients When Buying a Skin Care Product
By Diana E. Rubio

When you are buying a skin care product, there are specific ingredients that you should avoid. If you primary concern is health, your appearance will be better. If you have specific allergies, you need to keep those in mind, but everyone can have adverse effects if they use the wrong products.

Below is a list of those that may be hazardous to your health. Print it out and take it with you if you are planning on buying a skin care product. It would be difficult to memorize all of these.

Acrylamide

Commonly found in hand and face creams. Studies suggest it may cause breast tumors.

Alcohols

Ethanol, ethyl alcohol, methanol, benzyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol and SD alcohol are common ingredients in many so-called "beauty aids". Regardless of your skin-type, you should avoid buying a skin care product that contains an alcohol because they are very drying and irritating.
They strip away the skin's natural acid mantle, making you more vulnerable to bacteria, moulds and viruses. These ingredients may also promote brown spots and premature aging.
DEA (diethanolamine), MEA (monoethanolamine), and TEA (triethanolamine)

These are often used in skincare products to adjust the pH level. TEA causes excessive dryness and allergic reactions that include eye problems. Any of the three could be toxic if absorbed into the body over a long period of time. (Nearly everything can be absorbed through your pores.) If you are buying a skin care product from Europe, you may not have to worry, since their use is already restricted there because of known carcinogenic effects. (They cause cancer.)

Fragrance

4000 different ingredients fall under the category of 'fragrance'. Many of them are toxic or carcinogenic. Even, common fragrances affect the central nervous system, and can cause depression, hyperactivity, and irritability. When buying a skin care product look for fragrance-free or unscented.

Mineral oil, Liquid paraffin, Paraffin wax, Petrolatum

These are all petroleum based or by-products of petroleum. They are meant to help retain moisture, but they are too heavy and they clog the pores, causing break-outs and black heads.
When used continuously, they strip natural oils and cause chapping and increased dryness.

Any of these can be contaminated with carcinogenic PAH's (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons). If you are buying a skin care product because you think that it's a really good price. Check the label. Manufactures use mineral oil and other petroleum by-products because they are cheap.

Padimate-O

It is found mostly in sunscreens, but many base foundations now have a SPF rating, so check for the ingredient. There is concern that the energy absorbed by the ingredient encourages the formation of free radicals, which cause the formation of wrinkles and even skin-cancer.

Parabens: methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl paraben

These are widely used as preservatives. If properly manufactured, lotions and creams do not need artificial preservatives. Studies suggest these preservatives may cause cancer and interfere with the body's endocrine system. They are known allergens and tend to cause rashes. When buying a skin care product, look for hypo-allergenic, preservative free or all-natural. It is the best choice for the health of your face and body.

I have tried different skin care and anti aging products and my research shows that the best skin care line should be safe to use, effective on your skin and contain the latest breakthrough natural ingredients, get more information at: http://www.best-skin-care-line.com/

Natural Skin Care Products - Is 'Natural' Always Healthy?
By Heather Fields

As consumers, we often believe what we read. And although we have become educated in the foods we eat and the water we drink, we tend not to consider what is included in other products that make up our daily regime. We are drawn to those labeled 'natural' as a better, healthier choice.

But do you know what ingredients lurk in these natural products? Do you know the potential risks to your health and that of your family of these ingredients? Look beyond the pretty packaging, the catchy, popular phrase and you'll be more than a little surprised.

In fact, you're likely to be as shocked as I when I began researching ingredients of products that I had been using for years and discovered, for example, that my natural lipstick contains...hold on...lead?! Yep. Lead, in lipstick.

What came from years of research was a resolve to learn the names of those ingredients which are proven to be harmful. You know the ones: those multi syllable words impossible to pronounce? For example, myreth, oleth, laureth, ceteareth...any that end with an e-t-h. Also, PEG's, polyethylene, polyethylene glycol, polyoxyethylene, or oxynol. As an avid label reader, I make certain to check that these ingredients are not included in any natural skin care products that I might be interested in trying.

Did you know that American companies manufacturing personal care products, including natural skin care products, can include almost any ingredient and that the US government does not require safety tests? I kid you not. The FDA website states: "The regulatory requirements governing the sale of cosmetics are not as stringent as those that apply to other FDA-regulated products... Manufacturers may use any ingredient or raw material, except for color additives and a few prohibited substances, to market a product without a government review or approval."

More frightening is the fact that very harmful ingredients can be in products and you would not have a clue because they are not listed. Recently, the Organic Consumers Association (OAC), found the chemical 1,4-dioxane in products of well known, popular brands labeled as organic or natural skin care products. This 1,4-dioxane is a cancer causing contaminant and only shows up during the manufacturing process; it's not an actual ingredient. The ingredient used during manufacturing, Eythylene Oxide, is a petrochemical that makes harsh ingredients milder. Once processed, 1,4- dioxane surfaces and is readily absorbed into the skin. That which is absorbed into the skin can and will get into the blood stream. Not a good thing!

But don't panic because there is good news associated with all this sobering reality and that is this: there are companies operating with a good conscience and a strong commitment to utilizing only healthy, beneficial ingredients into their manufacturing be it natural skin care products, vitamin or supplements. These products might not be sitting on the shelves of your favorite department, grocery or drug store, but they are available.

Oh, and you just might want to start reading labels a little more closely...for your natural skin care health.

How to Choose a True Skin Care Natural Remedy
By Diana E. Rubio

You have to be careful when choosing a skin care natural remedy. There are few guidelines regarding the use of the word "natural" in labeling and advertising. So, it's one of those situations where the "buyer must beware".

If the ads sound too good to be true, they probably are. The Federal Trade Commission makes that advisement regarding any purchase, but it is especially true when it comes to a skin care natural remedy.

For instance, if they say something like "wrinkles vanish instantly". You have to question whether or not this is actually true. And, if it is, then you have to question what ingredients cause this to happen.

There are some products that create the illusion of smoothness by filling in fine lines and wrinkles. Cynergy TK, for example, forms a layer that, though invisible to the naked eye, causes light to bend in such a way that the wrinkles themselves are less visible. The ingredient can truly be classified as skin care natural remedy, because it contains nothing artificial, contributes to healing and improves the overall health of the skin.

It's not a common ingredient, though. A company in New Zealand holds a patent on the process that allows it to work so effectively. You have to search to find anything that contains it. One of the more common ingredients used for skin care natural remedy is honey.

Honey has been used as a skin care natural remedy for centuries. It contains natural antioxidants, acts as an antiseptic and an antibacterial. Different varieties, however, have different compositions. According to scientific evaluation, honey gathered from the manuka bush in New Zealand has the greatest healing ability.

So, just because a product lists honey as an ingredient does not necessarily mean that you are getting all of the advantages and the honey that you buy in the grocery store is processed for use as a food, so that won't work either. Look for a skin care natural remedy that contains manuka honey from New Zealand.

Research at the Waikato University has documented that it supports the skin's own cell renewal process, assists in the formation of stronger collagen and the protein that is responsible for elasticity. Plus, because of the antioxidant content, it destroys free radicals that are damaging on a cellular level and responsible for everything from deep wrinkles to cancer.

The importance of thoroughly reading the ingredients and researching the research supporting their effectiveness cannot be over emphasized. A skin care natural remedy should truly be safe enough to eat. There should be no added fragrances. The only scent should be that which naturally accompanies honey, avocado, palm oil or similar components.

In order to pick the right product, you have to consider what you are trying to accomplish. Just as an example, a night cream should soften, moisturize and assist the body in repairing cellular damage done during the day. The best skin care natural remedy for this purpose contains the ingredients mentioned in this article, as well as Vitamin E, coenzyme Q10, Shea butter and other special emollients. Do your research before you buy and you will be happier with the results.

I have tried different skin care and anti aging products and my research shows that the best skin care line should be safe to use, effective on your skin and contain the latest breakthrough natural ingredients, get more information at: http://www.best-skin-care-line.com/

Natural Ways to Care For Sensitive Skin
By Renee Peters

Sensitive skin isn't an issue to be taken lightly. Millions of people suffer from various forms of skin sensitivities, many of which go to drastic lengths to combat the annoying affliction. There are many ways to take care of your skin but with the constant influx of new products on the market, each touting similar claims, it can easily become more effort than necessary. Your skin is the largest organ of the human body. A number of things add up to cause and add to the sensitivity including environmental factors. There are plenty of simple, easy ways to take care of your skin that don't involve slathering yourself with lotions and creams.

A healthy diet is the first place to begin taking care of your sensitive skin. Be observant of how certain foods react with your skin. Some of the things you intake may be causing some of your sensitivity and you won't even know it. If you can isolate the variables that cause distress to your skin, they can be eliminated. A healthy diet that consists of proper fruit and vegetable servings will go a long way in aiding your skin's health. Natural products and foods are always the best.

Get your daily water intake. It's so essential for every part of your body's daily functions.
Drinking enough water will cast your skin with a warm glow that will certainly be noticeable. Not only that but it will aid your skin in defending the harsh effects of weather and sunshine. Many dermatologists will recommend avoiding things like caffeine and alcohol. Spicy foods are also on that list since they have a tendency to suck moisture from the body. Knowing which things are beneficial for your skin makes it easy to make selections when you're at the grocery store.
Natural is always best so remember that when it comes to alleviating the pain of sensitive skin.
Using naturally based makeup and lotion is a safe alternative to the cheaper drugstore types.
That stuff is fine for the general population but someone suffering from sensitive skin will find it to be painful and often the cause of a terrible rash or allergic reaction. A wide variety of naturally made makeup is available from health stores and online for those who simply need all natural cosmetics. It often comes at a higher price than drugstore cosmetics but it's worth it when your skin is free to breathe with no ill effects. It's recommended that sensitive skin sufferers always read the labels of everything before applying it to the skin.

A cleansing routine is important. Try a natural facial cleanser or mask before bed to relax and cool the skin from the harsh elements of the day. Everything from car exhaust to cigarette smoke is harmful to your skin. Take extra special care of it if it's especially prone to damage. The care of your skin goes a long way in the look and age of your skin. Don't wait for the lasting effects of damage to take hold on your skin when preventative measures are available now.

The Ambiguity Between Natural and Organic Skin Care Products
By John Gibb

Many people are turning to natural and organic products including natural and organic skin care products. These two words are often used interchangeably when in reality their definitions produce a lot of confusion. Organic products are made to organic standards and may be certified by agencies such as The Soil Association. Natural products should have extracts from plants, raw materials, and/or minerals. They may also have low amounts of synthetic chemicals in them.

I strongly suggest that you research skin care products and the ingredients used by many manufacturers. Unfortunately, the labels of many products not only present less than honest claims about their effectiveness but the ingredients listed may also be either false or only minimally present in the product. Many manufacturers concentrate more on packaging and marketing than on researching ingredients and providing the best possible natural and organic skin care products. Some products may actually harm your skin.

There are very beneficial ingredients for skin care. Phytessence Wakame is an exotic type of kelp that is native to the Japanese Sea. It blocks the enzyme called hyaluronidase that breaks down the hyaluronic acid. This acts as a "glue" keeping elastin and collagen fibers together. When the acid breaks down, so does the collagen and elastic causing lines, wrinkles, and dark circles under the eyes.

There are some ingredients that should be avoided. Parabens-methyl, butyl, propyl, and ethyl parabens are used as a preservative and to increase the shelf life of the product. Parabens have been known to interfere with the endocrine system and have also been linked to cancer.
Allergies and skin irritations can also occur.

Alcohols including ethanol, benzyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol and AD alcohols should also be avoided. Each alcohol has different properties and can seriously dry out your skin. Irritations can also occur from products with these alcohols.

Fragrances can make you smell nice but that is why you use perfume or colognes. Many ingredients in fragrances are known toxins and are carcinogenic. They can also irritate your skin.
Other harmful ingredients include mineral oils also called paraffin, paraffin wax or petrolatum. Mineral oil clogs the pores and does not allow the skin to "breathe". Many manufacturers use it because it is very inexpensive. Dioxane in concentrations of 1, 4 is known in the state of California to cause cancer.

The harmful ingredients listed above have no place in natural and organic skin care products. You want a product that not only has the most beneficial ingredients, but also has high concentrations of these ingredients.

Your Guide to Aging Gracefully
By Amit Kheterpal

As we grow old the skin becomes dry, wrinkled and begins to develop spots all over it.Age has an important role to play in that kind of appearance. Aging as a process cannot be reversed but the fact is that we can certainly make sure that affects of aging are minimized. There several methods to reduce the impact of aging on our skin as well as there are a lot of artificial procedures which can help reduce the affects of the aging giving a youthful appearance.

If you would like to age gracefully and avoid that your skin gives that wrinkled and freckled appearance make sure that you sleep properly. Sleeping is an effective antidote to dark circles under your eyes and lines near your eyes. This takes us to the next factor which is that the stress causes all those furrowed lines on the face and stress definitely takes a toll on the skin.
Avoid too much stress as it can negatively affect your kin. De-stress regularly using meditation as a technique. Use playing games as a technique to reduce stress. Yoga is said to a good stress buster.

Diet plays a great role in your skin appearance. Wrong habits can cause the skin to become dry and give that wrinkled unkempt appearance. In fact excessive alcohol can cause skin to dry and in turn cause wrinkles. Smoking has long been prove to deprive the body if vitamin C. It is this Vitamin C which causes the skin to be moist by itself. So quit smoking and reduce alcohol consumption to age gracefully.

Then there are methods to reduce the aging effects over a longer period of time. These can be natural or artificial methods. The natural method is drinking lots of water and protecting your skin from excessive exposure to dust, grime and sun. The artificial methods are getting the skin surgically treated like Dermabrasion or face tightening called face lifts.

The non surgical method is microdermabrasion or using the exfoliation creams. These creams help reduce the wrinkles and make you look younger.

The author has a resource to help females by listing all the Georgia microdermabrasion facilities and serve those looking for Georgia microdermabrasion in a better way.

Herbal Remedies For Skin Acne
By Carlo Rinaudo

If you are looking for a way to treat acne naturally, why not try herbal acne treatments? Herbal remedies have been used for thousands of years to treat just about everything. Herbal remedies include ingredients that have been derived from all organic products. Some of the best acne skin treatments that involve herbal acne treatment are as follows:

Lavender Oil

Lavender essential oil is one of the few essential oils that can safely be used on the skin. Most essential oils are too powerful to be used directly on the skin and can cause someone to have a rash. Lavender, however, is mild yet is a powerful antioxidant and cure-all for many ailments, including acne. The next time you get a break out, try a little lavender oil.

Belladonna

This is a herbal ingredient that is taken in a supplement instead of topical. You can try Belladonna to treat acne that has reached the point where pus has formed under the surface. Most acne blemishes are bacterial infections of the skin that are filled with pus. Belladonna can also be used topically to treat these infections.

Hepar Sulphur

This herbal ingredient is used to treat cystic acne that is very painful, large and also filled with pus. You should never pop an acne pimple because it can leave scarring. However, you can use Hepar Sulphur to treat the acne blemish. This herbal is one of the best acne skin treatments for deep blemishes.

Rose

Rose is another essential oil that can be used topically on the skin. Lavender and Rose are really the only two essential oils that can be used directly on the skin without fear of a rash forming. Rose can be beneficial in treating mild forms of acne or small breakouts.

Witch Hazel

Derived from the Witch Hazel bush, it is often diluted with alcohol and sold in drugstores and used as an astringent. When used in its true form, it can be very effective at treating acne blemishes. You can use the Witch Hazel as an astringent and also the concentrated form to treat blemishes.

Kali Bromatum

This herbal ingredient can be used to treat very deep blemishes. You can purchase Kali Bromatum in health food stores or even online to help you with the most troublesome of acne blemishes.

Acne is a scourge that most of us deal with at one time in our lives. Before you rush to the doctor and start using synthetic chemicals and toxins to treat this condition, keep in mind that herbal remedies are often the best acne skin treatments.

How to Choose the Right Skin Care Products
By Scott Goodman

It is important that you take care of your skin, and more than anything this means choosing the right skin care products.

To make sure that you choose the right skin care products one of the first things you will need to do is determine what skin type you have. All you do is wash your face and then pat dry, and then take a small piece of toilet paper and place it somewhere on your face, preferably somewhere on your t-zone.

If the paper sticks you have oily skin, if it falls right off you have dry skin, and if it sticks for a minute and then falls off you have normal/combination skin.

Once you have figured out what skin type you have, you will be able to determine what the best skin care products for you are going to be because different skin care products cater to different skin types.

Other Tips

There are also other things that you can do, besides using skin care products, to take proper care of your skin. One of the most important things is going to be you living as healthy a lifestyle as possible.

Your diet should include foods from all the different food groups. Fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grain breads and cereals, and foods that are high in fiber are all important to include in your diet. You should also be drinking plenty of water, at least six to eight glasses a day. This will help to flush harmful toxins from your body and also keep your skin moisturized.

Exercise is also important if you want to keep your skin looking healthy and beautiful. You should be exercising every day if you can, but since this is usually not a possibility, just try to fit it in whenever you can. Many people complain that they are simply too busy and have no time for exercise, but you can really always fit in some sort of exercise, no matter how occupied you are.

If you work in an office for instance, you can do some exercises in your chair while you are working or go to the gym on your lunch break.

A dermatologist will be the best person to get to help you choose skin care products, as they are specially trained in this area and will be able to offer you the most valuable advice. You can also do research on your own time to become more educated and learn tips and tricks on how to take care of your skin for life.
