Winter Skin Care Tips
By Thomas Galley

Winter skin care is an area where many people fail to make changes in their daily routine, causing them to become discouraged when the cold weather brings on acne breakouts, dry skin, and dark circles around their eyes. But the onset of winter doesn't mean that you have to succumb to the side effects it can have on your skin. By making a couple of simple changes to your skin care regimen, you can maintain beautiful skin in even the harshest winters.

Start Your Day with a Hot ShowerIt shouldn't take much to talk you into a warm shower on a cold winter morning, but just in case it does, here are the benefits from your skin's perspective.

First, the water of the shower provides a deep moisturizer for the skin. Second, as your body's temperature rises, your veins expand, which allows your blood to reach all areas of your skin.

Finally, a warm shower provides the perfect opportunity to integrate your moisturizer, which is the next step on our list.

Focus on MoisturizerThere is no way around it; you have to increase your use of moisturizer in the winter months. Exposure to cold air literally robs your skin of its natural healing ability, and this leads to dryness, flaking, and cracking. You will need a three-step moisturizing process to maintain healthy skin in these conditions. First, use a gentle body soap that is designed to provide moisturizers. Follow this by applying body lotion after your shower to lock in moisture.

Finally, invest in a good facial moisturizer that is free of fragrances and other unnecessary additives. Apply this immediately after anytime you wash your face.

Exfoliate Twice a WeekBecause the cold climates are so hard on the skin, you will find instances of flaking skin during this time. This is your body's natural reaction to skin cells that have died off, and it can be controlled with exfoliation. Not only does this technique wash away dead skin cells, but it also promotes the growth of new skin. While this is an excellent strategy to combat occurrences of dry skin, it must be used in moderation. Exfoliating more than twice a week can lead to skin irritation, so you need to be cautious if you notice any adverse effects.

Get Some Extra RestIt is not always easy to make time in our hectic lives for sleep, but a little extra rest can go a long way to curing those dark eye circles and fine lines on your face. Even if you can't afford to sleep in an extra hour everyday, you can still provide your body with additional rest by simply taking a short break in your day. Relax your tensions and close your eyes for ten or fifteen minutes during your lunch hour. It may not seem like a lot, but by giving your face muscles a break from their tension will help ward off the sings of aging.

By utilizing some of these simple steps for winter skin care, you can preserve the softness and beauty of your skin even when the weather is at its worst. Just remember to follow these steps on a regular basis. It is much easier to control skin conditions with prevention as opposed to treating them after they have occurred.

Hydroderm Skin Care has all of the resources you need to fight the signs of aging and maintain your skin's natural beauty.

Shea Butter Skin Care For Men
By Dr. Robyn Tisdale Scott

Shea Butter is extremely beneficial to our skin, hair, fingernails, and many other things. While a lot of people are familiar with the healing benefits of unrefined Shea Butter, a lot of people mistakenly think that it's something that is just for women. That is most definitely not true. It doesn't discriminate. It loves men too! Here are some great uses that men have for Shea Butter, and it's amazing benefits.

Shaving:
Shea Butter is especially great for shaving. On sensitive facial skin, using it for shaving is a wonder lotion. It allows the razor to glide smoothly across the facial skin and still allows for a close shave. It also helps prevent razor burn and those little red bumps that shaving can often leave behind. While it is helping men shave, it is also benefiting their skin through some amazing healing properties. Start by using your normal warm water to open your pores and soften the hairs on your face. Then, smooth a generous amount of it on your face. Shave the way you usually shave, and rinse. Use a towel to wipe away the excess Shea Butter. You will notice smoother, softer skin, and easier shaving.

Protective:
It is great for protecting the skin against irritations. For men who work outdoors, or who are athletic, it can be great. Men who experience heat rashes, bumps, or irritation can smooth it on before their workday or sports. Then after your daily shower, you can re-apply. This will help the skin be protected from the usual irritants that can happen, especially for hot weather.

First Aid:
One of the things that it is great for is minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. It has healing properties that can help things like this. If you have a minor sunburn, scrape or something else that doesn't require a doctor's attention, smoothing on Shea Butter can help it heal more quickly and can also minimize the appearance of scars.

See, guys. Shea Butter isn't just a girly product. It has serious benefits that even the most manly man can appreciate!

Restore Youthful Glowing Skin With Adequate Water
By Sharon A Bell

As you grow older, your skin undergoes many changes. There are several factors that can be responsible for the changes in your skin; some may be hereditary, while others may be acquired through exposure to natural elements and pollution. But no matter what factor caused these changes, the end result may not always bring about a smile on your face.

It would have been easier if everyone can just accept with open arms all the effects of aging and exposure to the elements. But society's concept of beauty and health can be brutally focused on one's outer appearance which includes spotless glowing skin. In this regard, skin rejuvenation has become a common means of restoring youthful appearance.

But the foundation of having healthy skin is deceptively easy and within everybody's reach. Beauty and skin experts have repeatedly stressed that water is key to attaining healthy glowing skin. This so called water therapy for your skin works on the principle that cells in the body, which includes the ones found in your skin, can only perform their tasks optimally if they are fully supplied with water; while total lack of hydration may damage the cells and jumpstart the process of aging as tissues become impaired.

Foremost examples of skin damage brought about by lack of water are having dry skin and the development of wrinkles. Many problems which lead to the deterioration of the skin, especially on the face area, can be counteracted if only you have adequately hydrated your cells. But apparently, the simple duty of ensuring that sufficient amount of water is taken in by the cells can be easily overlooked.

Hydrating the cells goes more than just drinking eight to ten glasses of water a day. In fact, the drinking part is only the first step in providing your cells with adequate hydration. The real function that you need to guarantee is about distributing and keeping as much water as possible in all the cells so they can continue to work at their peak.

According to Dr. Howard Murad, a pioneer in the study about the link between water and skin care, the aging process is a direct effect of water inadequacy in the body at the cellular level. And to make matters worse, your capacity to keep water in your cells decreases as you age. Hence, after a time, no matter how many glasses of water you drink in a day, your system just won't be able to keep enough water in your cells.

The overall aging process will cause many of your cells and tissues to malfunction. As they become less capable of keeping sufficient amounts of water, cells become weak and a lot of the water you take in will only be wasted because fewer cells are able to make use of the water. Instead of allowing water to be wasted away, you must apply measures to put back into the cells the water that is unused by the body. If you can do this, then there is a good chance that you can attain healthy skin and delay the onslaught of the aging process.

Redirecting water back into the cells that needed it mainly involves repairing your body's cells and tissues. You can fix damaged cells or tissues and allow them to absorb water again by taking supplements and diet that can mend or improve the functioning of your cells. Through adequate supplements and proper diet, not only will you be able to turn around the malfunction of cells, but you will also enable your cells or tissues to avert subsequent damages. Essential fatty acids and glucosamine are two of the most effective substances that are found in supplements and food, which can aid in the repair of cells and tissues.

Indeed, you can not totally stop the aging process, but you can delay its assault on your skin. By making sure that your cells have adequate amounts of water, plus nutrients from supplements and proper diet, you can hold on to a healthy youthful skin for years to come. You can also add the use of products like Lumnaderm to bring back life to dull-looking skin. For more details, just visit www.Lumnaderm.com.

Dead Sea Products - The Facts about Skin Care from The Dead Sea
By Nicole Essler

In many malls across the world it is common these days to find a kiosk or a cart selling skin care products from The Dead Sea. Often the salespeople will approach customers offering to try the lotion or body butter and to do a personal demonstration. It is important to be able to separate the facts from the myths when making a decision about using these cosmetics on your skin.

In order to be understand if skin care from the Dead Sea is the right choice for you it's important first to understand exactly what it is and what it's not. The key ingredient in these creams is a collection of over 21 minerals which are extracted from the overwhelming presence of salt in the sea. In fact the Dead Sea has a salt content 10 times higher than any other body of water in the world. The key here is that the salt in this sea is actually composed of only 10% sodium and the rest of the content are minerals mentioned above. Compared to regular sea salt which is 90% sodium this is a high concentration of minerals which are then extracted and formulated into creams, lotions, salt scrubs and other products.

It is true that studies have shown that a depletion of minerals and nutrients from skin cells has an adverse effect on skin aging and appearance. Dead Sea products therefore naturally help alleviate that problem by replenishing the minerals which are naturally depleted through normal skin functions. This helps prevent premature aging of the skin as well as help with certain skin conditions such as acne and Psoriasis.

What to watch out for: Beware of over inflated claims by salespeople that promise overnight magical results. While it's true that Dead Sea products are a natural alternative to chemical filled creams or surgical procedures there is not such thing as a miracle cream or lotion. Even with great skin care brands it will take at least 2-3 weeks of daily use to notice visible results, whether it's for reducing wrinkles, acne or Psoriasis outbreaks. Also do not believe claims that a jar of cream or a salt scrub lasts up to a year. An average size jar of 50 grams or a tube of 150 grams will last about 1 to 2 months.

Another thing to look for when making a decision about Dead Sea products is to make sure the product you are looking at is the genuine thing. True cosmetics from the Dead Sea are just that - they are made near the Dead Sea region. Because of this look on the back of the product and make sure it says either "Made in Israel" or "Made in Jordan," as those are the only 2 countries with direct access to the Dead Sea and that is where the factories making these products are located.

You also will want to look at the ingredients listing and pay attention to what other ingredients are present. Ingredients such as "parabens" and "sodium laurel sulfate" are not natural ingredients and should be avoided. Botanical ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Ginseng, and the complete range of vitamins are all beneficial for the skin and are a plus.

Finally as with any purchase be sure to shop around to make sure you are getting a good deal.

Do some searching on the internet or visit another nearby mall to make sure you are getting a good deal on your Dead Sea products. Prices vary greatly between brands and vendors so it can't hurt to take a quick look around. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Skin Care Awareness
By Waheed Elqalatawy

When you are aware of your skin care the right way, you can maintain a healthy and glowing skin all through your life.

You should be aware of the changes that occur in your skin, as well as the changes in the research and technology, so that you may evaluate, analyze, and change your skin care routines, these change should be based on the environmental conditions, your age, changes in your skin type, and advancement in technology and research.

As you grow older, your body natural skin maintenance mechanisms become weaker, and skin needs are changing, in the same time more and more facts are brought to light every day. You should be aware of the changing composition and nature of skin care products, so that your choice copes the supply to the needs the closest possible way.

Awareness also means knowing how to use your skin care products. Good practices include things like applying the moisturizers while the skin is damp(after cleansing), using upward strokes for better penetration of skin care products, removing the make up before going to bed, cleansing before moisturising or applying make up, using the correct amount of skin care products, etc. Thus, increasing the effectiveness of your skin care products is another focus area of serious skin care.

Awareness means being gentle with your skin. Things like over-exfoliation, use of low quality products, and application of strong-chemical based products, contact with detergents are all harmful to your skin. Some people have a wrong notion about serious skin care. For them serious skin care is - using large quantities of products as often as possible. However, this really is not serious skin care (and that's why awareness is so important).

Awareness is also about visiting your dermatologist for treatment of skin disorders. Ignoring the skin disorders can be fatal for your skin and might lead to permanent damage. So, if the things don't improve with over the counter medication, you should immediately visit a dermatologist.

Self-surgery e.g. squeezing of acne/pimples is a big no (it can lead to permanent damage of your skin).

Awareness of skin care is more about precautions and preventive measures (than treatment).

Awareness is about being proactive as well as reactive. In fact, we can say that 'awareness of skin care' is about being proactive about the needs of your skin so that the need for being reactive is reduced to a minimum.

Do you want to know all secrets of chosing skin care products? go read this article

Corner Mouth Sores Can Be Difficult To Cure, But Are They Contageous?
By Terry Hart

The first step to solving a health problem is understanding what it is. When you know the affliction by name it is a lot easier to get advice and concrete information. In the old days people passively accepted a single doctors opinion. But with the advent of the Internet, it is possible to use our own much more urgent motivation to cure certain ailments. Corner mouth sores, or cracked skin and ulcers at the corners of each side of your lips, is often a sure sign of "Angular Chelitis"

The most common way people "self diagnose" their condition is by looking at pictures of sufferers and comparing the way their own symptoms look. Once you know what to call your ailment it is much easier to seek a cure. Of course, see your doctor if you aren't sure it is Angular Chelitis, however if you are sure, there are things you can do.

If your lips often crack and go dry, you may have chapped lips which is a symptom within the Angular Chelitis family. Sometimes it gets a little more severe and your corners ulcerate painfully, causing bleeding and pain when opening the mouth. Angular Chelitis is actually a fungal infection, in the Candida family (thrush) and oral yeast infections often accompany the symptoms of cracked corners of the mouth.

Angular Chelitis is not contagious. So there is no risk you will pass on the condition if you kiss someone. Although finding someone to kiss may be another story. With cracked and raw legions on the corners of your mouth, it is often not surprising that loved ones may be hesitant about offering you a kiss.

Don't despair, it can be cured and commonly it can be permanently cured. However if you go to your doctor, you may often be prescribed 1% hydro cortisone. This stuff rarely works, and it is expensive. I have heard of many people paying for a doctors consultation, then buying the prescription only to be in the same place they were a week earlier. Thus many many people suffer with this affliction in silence.

If you would like to look at pictures that can help you verify your own condition, you can download this simple and effective cure from the Angular Chelitis Foundation Their official treatment instructions are all natural and very effective. After following treatment instructions you can expect the symptoms relieved and the legions in the corners of your mouth completely dried out within a few hours.

How to Heal Dry Face at Home With Natural Ingredients
By Nancy Hall

Excessively dry skin is a major problem for many people during the colder months. The mix of freezing air and indoor heating produces the perfect environment for the appearance of dry, peeling skin on hands, feet, and maybe even your face.

People moisturize and bathe in order to ease dry skin but this can have results that are counterproductive. Dry skin that breaks out during colder months should be relieved from the inside and not just with aloe vera or water. Thanks to an all natural element contained in certain creams, you can biologically moisturize dry areas from the submerged layers of your own skin.

Cure of Dry Skin

At first, dry skin seems to be just an easy issue that can he treated without too much trouble.

The truth is that it doesn't take too long before you recognize that dry skin and dermatitis are debilitating problems that affect millions and millions of people every year. The conditions can often prompt uncomfortable stares along with the physical painful feelings of dry, flaking skin.

So the issue becomes how do you treat excessively dry skin? You can not just leave it untreated and wait for the skin to cure itself. If left alone, dry skin can develop into itchy, broken skin that becomes a breeding ground for dangerous pathogens.

How to Heal Dry Face at Home

The basic approach to skin care is to use moisturizing lotion over the whole body, every day, after showering. While it is true that moisture needs to be recuped in order to avoid cracking and disease, normal lotions can honestly damage your skin more than help it.

Moisture needs to be restored in the lipid barrier of skin, which is under the superficial layers.

The complication is most elements in moisturizing lotions do not penetrate deep enough into the skin to reach this critical layer. Yes, moisturizing lotions trap moisture in the skin but they also obstruct cracks and pores that are needed to expel germs and impurities. If toxins can't find a way out, they can inflame already uncomfortable skin. Moisturizing lotions too aren't strong enough to be the key to treating cracked heels or feet. Cracked heels require stronger treatment.

People enjoy seeing aloe vera on the sticker of their moisturizing creams but many individuals have no idea what it does or how it helps relieve dry skin. The truth is that aloe vera is fundamentally used as an ingredient to control and relieve burns like UV burn or chemical burns. It has no scientifically proven ability to moisturize skin. When used in extreme quantities, it can trigger diarrhea, muscle discomfort, and even electrolyte imbalances.

All Natural Healing of Dry Skin

There is a new biological dry element, that when used topically, can moisturize and relieve dry skin by repairing the lipid barrier of the skin. It naturally clears our pores and doesn't block them, allowing for the normal escape of toxins and impurities. It works naturally to treat these problems like eczema, red rashes, dermatitis, psoriasis, and even children's cradle cap.

When applied to fresh, clean skin, the all natural dry skin treatment will fuse with your own skin cells and:

* saturate the skin and initiate the normal recuperative processes of the skin.

* moisturize and replenish the lipid barrier of the skin. The balm will hydrate it from within by holding water within and strengthening the ability of your body to generate the water holding molecules in the skin. Glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans provide the elasticity and strength. This helps prevent over-stretching, wrinkles plus the scaling of dry skin.

* repair and fix dry, inflamed skin back to health using rose hip oil, a natural source of both trans retinoic acid (Vitamin A). Rose hip contains fatty acids that have healing, hydrating and rejuvenating qualities. It aids cell regeneration and boosts levels of collagen and elastin ingredients.

* kill microbes and make the skin an unpleasant place for future breeding grounds. This prevents bacterial development and helps avoid future problems like skin peeling.

* Liposomes in the ingredient saturate deep into cells and continue to provide biological molecules to the cells for up to 12 hours.

Dry skin can be an extremely painful problem. Finding at effective all natural dry skin cure is now a lot simpler with the discovery of a new biological moisturizing ingredient. We invite you go take a few moments to visit out webpage and read more about how our product is an effective relief for excessively dry skin. While you are perusing the site, you can see that the cream can also be used to allay dry skin associated with Accutane. Don't let dry, cracked skin affect how you feel. Click now and moisturize from within.

A Complete and Balanced Skin Treatment Cream Loaded With Natural Ingredients and Skin
By Linda Gladhill

Where exactly do all your natural skin care products come from? Of course, they claim they are 'natural' but does that automatically indicate they are good for the overall health of your skin?

Do you fall for everything you see on a label? Are you using products solely on the flimsy claims of the marketers who say it is 'all natural'? Would you apply the same product if you found out animals were harmed in the collection process?

The time has arrived to stop trusting all the lies and absurd claims of sharp marketing professionals and educate yourself on natural skin care products. There are absolutely no worldwide guidelines when it relates to labeling natural skin care products. Countless resourceful marketers know there is a booming market in all things 'natural'. They are constantly stretching the limits of the definition (or the lack there of) since they know full well people are willing to pay top dollar for a product they think is all natural.

A lotion can be 'natural' and still be unhealthy for your skin. Does your 'natural' skin care lotion contain parabens? These are typical preservatives that can cause allergic reactions like itching and redness. Can your natural ingredient contains carcinogens which contribute to cancer? It is very possible because some everyday 'natural' lotions can generate hormonal imbalances and free radical proliferation. What if your lotion has one natural element and then other chemical ones? Is it still considered natural skin care product? There is no correct answer because there is no global definition.

Emu oil has been promoted for its scar healing proficiency and its moisture holding properties. It is possible animal derived products like honey and emu oil are advertised as natural components but they come at a cost. Bee hives used to be burned in order to remove the honey which destroyed a huge number of bees and cut down on worldwide numbers. Emu oil removal is done most frequently on dead birds. Are you comfortable that these natural ingredients come at the price of the life of the donors?

Natural Skin Care Creams and Lotions are Advertised Everywhere on the Market but the Name Is Not Always Fitting

There is a new skin treatment cream making waves in the natural skin care world that does not have parabens or dangerous preservatives. The element is produced inside the cells of a living creature and does not require damaging the creature in the removal process. It does not trigger redness or skin rashes when used topically. It biologically stimulates the normal remodeling processes of human skin, thus naturally curing skin inflammations like acne and rosacea and scarring like acne scars and stretch marks.

Natural skin care fanatics from all corners of the globe write and say just how happy they are using this product. Acne scars and keloids that covered the skin for ages are now dissolved.

Clients use words like 'amazing' and 'miracle' when illustrating the perks of the skin care product. Skin afflictions make people dislike looking in the mirror. Application, at least twice daily, of this natural skin care product will have you opening your eyes early and running to the mirror to see the improvements.

The biological skin treatment product works in unison with your body and:

* Dissolves dead and dying cells on the topmost micron of skin (part of the superficial layer that is no thicker than a sheet of paper, slowly and over a period of time)

* Diffuses damaged cells within the dermis by the action of biological enzymes

* Stimulates the use of the amino acids that the enzymes free and activates the fibroblast stem cells which favor the proliferation of new healthy connective tissues and all the basic elements of healthy skin

* Arouses the evolution of the extracellular binding between cells, hence boosting skin strength, cutting down on fragility.

* Revitalizes the capacity of the skin to stay hydrated by stimulating the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, the molecules that give skin its capacity to keep in water. This helps to harden the dermis resulting in a diminishment of drooping and less fine lines and wrinkles.

* Destroys free radicals by the activity of its potent antioxidants that also have an anti-inflammatory effect.

* Impedes microbiological activity of manacing, pathogenic skin bacteria, including acne. %u2022 Manages blood vessel formation and oxygenation within the capillaries in the skin contributing to its proper nourishment.

* Controls dermal fibroblast development and excess collagen, and hence defends against and diminishes abnormal scars such as keloid and hyperthropic scarring and gently but consistently gets rid of ice-pick scars or depressed acne scars.

It is very important to recognize that 'natural' does not perpetually mean healthy. We invite you to go to our webpage and learn more about natural skin care products, cosmetics and their effectiveness. We also have a whole shopping mall full of products ranging from bath and body products, sunscreens, and aromatherapy to our biological skin care cream. It is an all in one natural skin care shop that is only a click away. Go right now and give your skin a present, it will appreciate it.

Maintaining Healthy Skin
By Marjorie Moutari

The skin around the eyes and neck usually shows signs of aging first.

The skin is made up of collagen and connective tissues to keep the skin elasticity and tightness.

If proper care is not taken the skin will sag and wrinkle. The slow process of aging can be accelerated by prolonged over exposure to sunlight, smoking, stress, and dietary in balances.

Some exposure to sunlight is essential, it stimulates the production of vitamin D a substance necessary for the formation and maintenance of healthy bones.

People that smoke show signs of aging quicker than non-smokers. The effect of stress on the face causes tension in the muscles and skin of the face. To maintain collagen level keep skin nourished outside and inside, consume adequate amount of vitamin C daily, found in fruits and vegetables, orange, grapefruit, lemon, lime, dried apricots, consume more carrots, spinach, brazil nuts, wheat germ, olive oil, seafood, whole grains, vitamins A B C and E, zinc, rosehips are very high in vitamin C, drink adequate amount of pure water, use purifying herbs to help flush toxins and waste from the body. Exercise regularly to increase metabolism and circulation.

Hydrating and nourishing- the basics of any skin care regimen will include cleansing, toning and moisturizing, use Kazam Natural Body Care face and body scrubs. The skin is one of the largest elimination organs of the body, when it's clogged up the pores work harder to eliminate toxins and waste, dead cells give skin a sallow or dull tone, when the skin is thoroughly cleansed and pores are unclogged of dirt allowing the skin to breathe again and leaves skin glowing and soft and help a sluggish circulation and stimulate the skin.

Have a Home Massage make the atmosphere calm and relaxed, dim the lights and play soothing music.

Massage the body don't forget the legs and feet with Kazam Natural Body Care body and massage oil , scent of your choice and experience Hedonistic Joy.

BEAUTY TIPS:

1) Never put very hot or very cold water on the face.Extreme temperature will engorge or constrict capillaries too quickly. This can cause capillaries to break, resulting in the appearance of spider veins

2) Never use petroleum products such as mineral oil or petrolatum (petroleum jelly/ Vaseline). They clog the pores and cause them to become enlarged.

3) Cleanse the skin to remove dirt, accumulated old oil, and daily pollutants by using Kazam Natural Body Care Facial Glow Scrub.

Ms. Marjorie Moutari is the founder and CEO of Kazam Natural Body Care LLC. A family based business which manufactures Natural Body Care and Organic Health and Beauty Products.

‘Man skin care’ would seem like an alien topic to some men. It would have been even more alien a few years back. However, more and more men are now realising the importance of man skin care (and hence you see markets flush with man skin care products too). Even though the male skin is very different from that of a female, ‘man skin care’ is very similar to the skin care for women.

‘Man skin care’ too starts with cleansing. Water soluble cleansers are preferred. Cleansing helps remove the dirt, grease and pollutants from the skin and helps in preventing pore clogging. The inherent oily nature of male skin makes cleansing an important part of man skin care procedure.

Cleansing should be done at least once every day, even better if it is done twice a day. Using soap on the face is discouraged.

‘Man skin care’ revolves a lot around shaving. Shaving foam/gel/cream and after shave lotion are one of the most important man skin care products. Serious ‘man skin care’ requires a proper selection of shaving related equipment and products. One of the main considerations in choosing shaving products should be the skin type (since the degree of oiliness differs from person to person). Alcohol-based aftershaves should be avoided. Proper ‘man skin care’ also mandates the use of good quality razors. Here, swivel-head razors are preferred since they are known to reduce cuts. Besides these products and equipment, it is also necessary that you use them properly. Be gentle when using your razor. Do not scratch it against your skin; use a soft and smooth action (after all it’s a matter of removing hair, not the skin itself).

Male skin is generally thicker and oilier, owing to larger pores and more active sebaceous glands.

However, due to regular shaving, the skin can get dehydrated quite easily. Hence moisturisers too form an integral part of man skin care. Moisturising gel or cream should be applied after shaving. In fact, some shaving foams/ gel have an in-built moisturising effect too. Moisturisers should be patted gently over the face and massaged gently using upward strokes.

Though a man’s skin is less susceptible to skin cancer caused by UV radiation, using a sunscreen is also an important man skin care measure. You can use a moisturiser that combines sunscreen with the moisturising effect.

Another good option for ‘man skin care’ is to use man skin care products which have natural ingredients like aloe vera, sea salt and coconut etc. Naturally antiseptic oils e.g. lavender, tea tree etc also provide good means for man skin care.

Man skin care is not as difficult as a lot of men think. It just asks for a few minutes every day, in order to give you a healthy skin for present and for future.

How To Prevent Dry, Wintertime Skin - The Benefits Of Regular Exfoliation
By Emily Gilbert

Winter is fast approaching, and with the icy winds and freezing temperatures often comes an aesthetic nightmare: dry and flaky wintertime skin. It can be difficult to maintain a radiant complexion when the weather alone is enough to drive you indoors, but the season of lights doesn’t always have to mean a dull face. Many of us are well aware of the numerous benefits of facial exfoliation, but this part of your skin care routine becomes doubly important during the colder months. If you want to keep your skin glowing even when the sun hasn’t been out for days on end, keep these four exfoliation benefits at the forefront of your mind and a good facial exfoliator next to your sink.

• There are two types of exfoliation: chemical and mechanical. Chemical exfoliation ranges from mild toners all the way up to dermatological chemical peels that can cost you thousands of dollars. Mechanical exfoliation is the most common form and usually consists of facial scrubs and washes with small abrasive grains that help to slough off dead skin. Microdermabrasion is mechanical exfoliation at its most powerful. Although both mechanical and chemical exfoliation have their respective benefits, stick with cost-effective home treatments that are gentle on your skin and also your holiday money stash—It is possible to achieve non-irritating facial rejuvenation without breaking your budget.

• Although it might seem counterintuitive, sloughing off dry skin cells with a mild abradant actually helps to maintain skin’s natural moisture level. Dead skin cells build up naturally, and removing this outer-most layer will aid in the absorption of other products, such as a thick and creamy moisturizer that you only bring out when the temperatures drop. Make sure to look for a facial exfoliator with a mild and gentle formula; it’s important to avoid harsh chemicals that could further aggravate the skin in its delicate state. Also, smaller grains in an exfoliant tend to be less irritating, so stay away from larger particles in the scrub you choose.

• For those of us who are looking for the latest tips in anti-aging skin care secrets, look no further. As we age, the skin renewal process naturally slows down, and old cells that would have easily given way to younger cells a few years ago often outstay their welcome on the surface of the face. This fact is especially true in winter when we tend to stay indoors longer and usually settle into a less active lifestyle. To avoid build up of this skin-dulling residue, it’s important to exfoliate daily instead of once or twice a week in addition to your normal skin care routine. An added bonus of daily exfoliation for aging women is that it greatly encourages the increased production of natural collagen, which helps to keep skin firm and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

• Just like you, your skin suffers from staying “cooped up” for too long. When dead skin cells are allowed to stay on the surface for extended periods of time, a whole host of facial maladies can occur. Regular exfoliation prevents clogged pores, acne, ingrown hairs, and certain types of infection. It can also thwart scarring from blemishes and help reduce the appearance of existing scars.

There are plenty of reasons to stay indoors during the cold winter months, but a dull complexion shouldn’t be one of them. To keep skin looking young, fresh and healthy for the holiday festivities, invest in a gentle facial exfoliator that you can use every day. Do some research and pick a scrub that is right for you skin type and skin care goals. In addition to daily exfoliation, make sure to use a light sunscreen during the winter; just because you can’t see the sun doesn’t mean that its damaging rays won’t make it to your face. A regular sunscreen works hand in hand with an exfoliator in that it reduces the amount of damage your scrub has to clean up.

Let your skin breathe this season and enjoy the merriment—exfoliation should be as instinctive to you as relaxing by a warm fire with friends and family.

Avoid Dry Skin Woes - Big Secrets To Rejuvenating Your Skin
By Sharon A Bell

Winter is fast approaching. And sure enough your skin will be among the casualties of the coldness and dryness brought about by this season. In winter, outdoor humidity is in the lowest levels. Meanwhile, as you use the heater more often inside your home or office, the level of skin moisture is sapped further. So in winter, Santa is not only the one who will come to town, it will also be the time for dry and scaly skin.

To make matters worse, your dry skin may also be aggravated by your poor diet. The food that you eat plays a major role in keeping a sufficient level of skin moisture. And speaking of a moisturized skin, how many glasses of water do you drink each day? Not much. Most people will not even touch a glass of water until they feel parched.

Then there is age and genetic factors. As you age, your skin's ability to self-moisturize declines. This is why older people generally have wrinkles and blemishes on their skin. And if you take a look at members of your genetic line and they have dry skin, you may well expect that you will have the same skin type when you reach their age or even earlier in your life.

Dry and unprotected skin can be a big problem. As the skin is the largest of all the organs of the human body, it is hard to imagine that such an important part of the body is left at the mercy of climate changes and fouled-up surroundings. Just think about what will happen if your skin just stopped functioning. Which organ is going to balance body temperature or handle your sense of touch? Above all, which organ is going to determine whether you have beautiful features?

Now you may think that there is not much hope for your skin. Like a well in the desert, your skin is bound to dry up; and then wrinkles and age spots will come next. After all, you can not stop winter from coming. And you definitely can not turn back the wheels of time nor can you alter your genetic traits to have soft and smooth skin. Even if you can certainly try to change the food you eat and drink plenty of water, you would think there is not much that you can do to save your skin from dryness.

Well, you're wrong! Despite the presence of harsh environmental conditions and other factors that are beyond your control, you can still maintain a healthy skin. Always remember that when it comes to the health of your skin, it is always about moisture. In fact, the skin has oil glands that provide the natural lotion needed to keep the skin from drying out.

The key to keeping your skin soft, smooth, and younger-looking as ever is to nourish and rejuvenate it with sufficient moisturizers. In short, you need to help the skin's glands in providing moisture to your skin. Eating the right food and drinking lots of water provide a good start, but these efforts are not enough.

In an age when astringent chemicals have become important components in manufacturing cosmetics and other derma products, one can never be sure how the skin will react to most skin care products out in the market. There is always a big chance that the soap or lotion you are using can harm your skin. Hence, it is important that you carefully choose the derma products that you apply on your skin; a good way to go about this is to always go for skin care products that are made with 100% natural ingredients.

To help nourish your skin, you can try using a product called Rejuvinol. It is rich in nutrients and can rehydrate your dry skin. You can visit www.Rejuvinol.com for more information about this skin moisturizer.

Sunscreen is the number one way to prevent skin damage. Sun exposure leads to wrinkles, dryness, age spots, and discoloration. Basis of all your skin care product purchases should be those that match your skin type.

Using water that is too hot or cold will only dry your skin and cause damage so during cleansing your should use warm water. Glycolic Acid Information
By James Daltons

We are always looking for the newest methods to aide in the fight against aging and other conditions and diseases that affect the look of our skin and the youthfulness that is associated with taut skin. There are many different products and substances that people claim can reverse the hands of time and treat your skin effectively. This article will focus on one such product and look at what it is and how it is able to effectively help in skin treatment.

To understand how Glycolic acid can benefit the skin, you first need to know what it is. The acid is afruit acid or alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) like Citric acid. It is a naturally occurring acid and its natural form it is colorless and odorless. It is also very soluble in water. It is often used in the industrial industry. It is often used as a degreaser and it is also strong enough to remove rust from metal. In its natural form, a concentration of over 10% is considered to be hazardous material.

Glycolic acid has many benefits. The acid is often used to reduce the look of many skin conditions. These can be scars from eczema and acne, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. It can also be an efficient exfoliant and it can aide in the reduction and look of many different skin conditions that can affect the skin. Glycolic acid works by peeling the skin; this depends on the concentrations used in the specific product. It is also very effective at being absorbed into the skin and this extremely helpful as it will have a reaction the outer layer of the epidermis. Once the glycolic acid reaches this layer it will soften the lipids holding power; this responsible for holding the skin cells together. Once this occurs the acid will be able to dissolve the underlying skin.

There are countless products that are available on the market to help with skin treatment to make you look younger, and reverse the signs of aging. One such product, glycolic acid, is used to treat the skin as it is able to help the skin. It is a very efficient skin peeler and can get rid of dead skin cells that add to the aged look of the skin. Glycolic acid is also used in the industrial industry to help remove built up material such as grease and rust.

Glycolic Acid is just one of the many topics that the author James Dalton writes on. He also spends his time investigating various matters such as Lawn Fungus and Hydroquinone. Please spend sometime and visit his websites for more information.

Treating Cold Sores

By Brad Burns

A cold sore or fever blisters as they are also known are caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). Now as you may be well aware this is a very common viral infection, and as with most subjects like this it can create a great deal of distress for the sufferer, as not only is the cold sore painful, but it is also embarrassing and very frustrating. Now although the word Herpes is mentioned, cold sores are not necessarily caught through sexual activity. In fact, cold sores are very contagious and can be can spread by direct contact or through indirect contact by doing something such as using an infected towel or food appliance for example.

Cold Sores

As mentioned, cold sores are caused by herpes simplex types 1 and 2. Now although both of these herpes virus cause herpes on the lips or genitals, in general most often cold sores are caused by the type 1. Because this type of herpes does not come from sexual contact and because it is highly contagious and can come from indirect contact, then it stands to reason that is why a majority of people who have had cold sores became infected before the age of 10. There is no real timescale on how long a cold sore will last, but on average they are usually gone within two weeks or so. And although you may be carrying the virus, if you do not have any symptoms of your cold sore, that can mean the virus is dormant and you are not infectious at that time.

Treatment Of Cold Sores

Unfortunately, it is not really possible to 100% cure or prevent the outbreak of cold sores. However, the good news is that there are certain steps you can take to reduce how often they occur and shorten the length of an outbreak. The most common treatment of cold sores and fever blisters is to use an antiviral medication. Also if you treat the cold sore with an antiviral cream then this in turn will also help prevent the spread of the virus. When you apply an antiviral cream you may find that you have a slight stinging for a few minutes, but do not worry as this can be quite normal. If you are uncertain about using this kind of medication then make sure you seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health professional before starting a treatment, but on the whole you should be okay with an over the counter remedy.

Other Cold Sore Remedies

As with most things in life these days, there are so many different remedies to treat your cold sore with, from over the counter to natural remedies. When it comes to home remedies, there are probably as many of these as there are over the counter remedies, with cures ranging from cold compresses, tea bag application, applying moisturizers and petroleum jelly, right the way through to mother natures remedies with things like tea tree oil or sage. Now as with most of these kind of natural cures none of them have really been scientifically proven to help speed up the time cold sores last for, but many people do feel that they find them to be beneficial. And I suppose the good thing about using natural treatments for a cold sore is that you are less likely to suffer from any dangerous side effects.

So a cold sore is highly contagious, unsightly and can be very distressing for the sufferer, and whilst it cannot be 100% cured outright it can be managed. What you will probably find is that a cold sore can be likened to an allergy, in that you may experience more at certain stage of life, and you may also be free of them for years. Then good news is that there are treatments available to help you deal with your cold sore, both medicinal and natural so you are bound to be able to find a treatment that suits you.

If you have found this useful and are looking for a way to treat your cold sore effectively in as little as 3 days then I highly recommend you pay a visit to http://coldsorefree.blogspot.com/

Skincare Without Doctors!
By Ursula Mclean

It is very tempting to visit any number of doctors when skincare is involved. Skincare is one of the most important parts of our daily routine. Our skin is what we show to the rest of the world.

We want it to appear flawless, exuding both health and vitality! Skincare does not need to involve doctors at all; it can be purchased over the counter and provide great results!

Skincare and Anti-Aging

Aging is one of the battles we all must fight. Skincare is essential when it comes to combating the signs of aging. Too many people seek out the assistance of doctors and surgeons in order to try and reverse the effects of aging. Surgery can be dangerous and painful and the results are never guaranteed. There is always room for mistakes. It is better to find anti-aging skincare products and avoid doctors altogether.

The most common anti-aging skincare products are for the face and neck. These products can decrease the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They can help to hide puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. They can also aid to firm skin that has sagged over time. No face lift is required. Another sign of aging is a change in skin pigmentation. Some people develop dark spots on their face, arms, and hands. These can be lessened by a skin lightening product. Aging can be done gracefully with these skincare products.

Skincare to Feel Attractive

Smooth, glowing skin makes anyone feel more attractive. This is easily achieved through proper skincare and without the help of doctors. There is no need to get a prescription medication in order to get skin that looks attractive and feels wonderful!

Skincare always starts with the right face wash. It is important to clear out the pores. When someone has pimples to deal with, there are products that will eliminate them and leave skin feeling clear and smooth. Many prescription medications for pimples and acne leave the skin feeling very dry and unattractive. A good over the counter skincare regimen will keep skin looking its very best without the necessity of a doctor's intervention.

In order for a woman to feel truly attractive, she has to remove any unwanted hair. This may be from her legs, underarms, eyebrows, and upper lip. Shaving is not a good idea for all of these sensitive places and there are other options that last longer and are easy to apply. There is no need to seek out a physician to have electrolysis performed to permanently remove unwanted hair.

Every woman that has gained extra weight or had a pregnancy knows the horror of stretch marks. Nothing makes a woman feel less attractive than these unsightly lines and long red marks. Luckily, there are creams that help minimize the size and color of these stretch marks so that a woman can feel confident about her appearance.

The Real Secret to Skincare

The real secret to skincare lies beneath the skin. It is the layer of skin underneath the top layer.

It is imperative to remove the dead skin cells from the top layer of skin that can leave the skin looking dull and dry. This is easily done through the right exfoliator or skin peel. Many women seek out doctors that can perform microdermabrasion, but this is unnecessary when there are cheaper and easier methods available in over the counter products. When the dead skin is sloughed away, the fresh skin underneath has beautiful color, smooth texture, and looks amazing.

There is no need to seek out the help of doctors when it comes to a skincare regimen. It is just a matter of finding the right products that suit a person's individual needs. This is easily accomplished with a little time and research.

Skincare That Makes a Difference
By Ursula Mclean

Everyone washes their face at some point, but this is not real skincare. When someone is serious about skincare, they have an entire regimen and several skincare products that are dedicated to keeping skin soft, smooth, and young looking. It is never too late to get into a good routine; it is just a matter of knowing what to do and how to do it!

Where to Start with Proper Skincare

This part has already been achieved. The first and most crucial part of skincare is to wash.

However, there are more products available than a simple bar of soap that costs next to nothing at the grocery store. There are soaps made specifically for different skin types and different parts of the body. There are shower gels that smell wonderful and help exfoliate the skin when applied. It is better to spend a bit more money for quality soap than to rely on a cheaper version.

Skincare and Exfoliation

An exfoliator is necessary to scrub away the top layer of dead skin cells and reveal the fresh, smooth skin underneath. This can be done in one of several ways. Most exfoliators contain a natural exfoliating agent such as salt, sugar, or sand. Other considerations include using a loofah and shower gel or an exfoliating scrub brush. Any of these will help to scrub away those dead skin cells, which is imperative for proper skincare.

Toners and Astringents in Skincare

Toners and astringents are not for everyone. They are mostly for people with problem skin or especially oily skin. These two skincare products help to clean out the pores and keep them clean. People with dry skin or no problem areas may skip this step since it can dry out the skin.

Skincare and Moisturizer

Everyone needs to use a moisturizer at some point. Skin gets dry. It can also crack, peel, itch, and even hurt. In order to prevent this from occurring, it is a good idea to get into the habit of moisturizing daily. A moisturizer should be applied to the entire body to keep it smooth. Different parts of the body may require different moisturizers. Facial moisturizers are less harsh, while moisturizers designed for feet need to be stronger. The best time to moisturize is directly after a shower, when the pores are open. The skin will soak in the moisturizer easily and skin will feel smooth instantly.

Sunscreen and Skincare

Sunscreen is an absolute necessity these days. Many people enjoy tanning and spending time in the sun. The sun may give people a nice tan, but it also leads to dark spots, burns, scars, and even wrinkles. That tan may look great when people are young, but as they get older, they look more like a leather handbag. Additionally, too much sun can lead to skin cancer. People do not take the threat of skin cancer as seriously as they should. It can be deadly. Rather than develop skin cancer and wrinkles, it is easier to apply sunscreen every day and apply a nice fake tan.

Make-Up Remover

It is important to never go to bed with make-up on. It sinks right into the pores and clogs them up. This creates blemishes. It is much easier to use a simple make-up remover in the evening and then wash the face before going to bed. There are even make-up removers that specialize in waterproof mascara, so there is no excuse to leave make-up on through the night. It is easier to follow this skincare step than to have to deal with blemishes later on.

Proper skincare is imperative for healthy, youthful looking skin. Many view various skincare products and a skincare regimen as either nonessential or unimportant. More time and money are spent on cosmetics, aftershaves and perfumes. However, without healthy skin, these other products are for naught. It is imperative to know the basics about proper skincare to keep beautiful skin for a lifetime. Skincare may appear to be tedious and time consuming, but all it takes is just minutes a day!

Hands Off!
By Beth Newman

One of my favorite autumn activities is a nice, long walk through the neighborhood. This walk is even better when my better half, Mr. Kent, accompanies me. We hold hands and gaze at the vibrant splendor of the changing leaves. I mentioned this to a girlfriend not too long ago, who, to my surprise proclaimed, “You actually hold hands with your husband? My husband’s hands are like sandpaper – I can’t stand for him to touch me!”

That’s a pretty bold statement, and a shameful way to live. I knew right then that I simply had to offer a few hand-saving (and in the case of my friend, relationship-saving) tips with some of you gents.

Tip 1: Wash Your Hands

Pretty elementary stuff, I realize, but I’m amazed by the number of men I know personally who don’t do it. (Don’t ask how I know, just trust me when I tell you I do). That means washing in the restroom, washing before you eat, washing after you’ve worked on the car…that sort of thing. Your hands may not look dirty, but millions of little disgusting bacteria are there, which can lead to illness.

Tip 2: Moisturize

The men I know are split on this: many moisturize religiously, while others avoid it like a bad rash. The sandpaper feel my friend described stems from the fact that her husband never uses hand cream. He feels it’s not masculine to do so. I strongly disagree. Nothing’s better than taking the hand of your beloved and caressing its soft, smooth outline.

Tip 3: Nail Care

Do spend a little time on your nails. Clean them, trim them, and pay close attention to your cuticles (never cut a cuticle; after moisturizer, push it back gently with a facecloth or towel). I see more men in the nail salons these days, and I think it’s fantastic. There’s nothing wrong with caring for one’s nails, whether you do it yourself or have someone do it for you. It matters.

Tip 4: Exfoliate

Ask your girl to pick up a tube of hand scrub (Sally Hansen carries a fabulous line). Exfoliate once a week, and then do double duty with the moisturizer. It’s like a facial – a handcial, shall we call it?

And Finally…

Be mindful of where you put your hands. No, I don’t mean that. I’m asking you to please refrain (at least while in public) from inserting your fingers in the following areas:

Mouth
Ears
Nose
Pants

No one, and I mean no one, will want to take your hand if they’ve witnessed any of the above.

Some of you may feel that this is a bit too much, but please trust me on this one. Nothing’s nicer than taking a beloved’s hand….especially when that hand is well cared for.

Cold Sore Best Remedy
By Charlene Nuble

Cold sores are also referred to as fever blisters. They are very small blisters that appear on the outer edges of the patient's mouth. They are mostly red and a little itchy. If you happen to have one, the cold sore best remedy is shown below:

1. Aloe. Extract the juice coming from an aloe plant. Rub it on the affected area. Aloe gels that can be bought over-the-counter are also as effective. Aloe is best used during the first signs of the disease.

2. Grapefruit seed extract. Just apply a very small amount of grapefruit seed extract on the affected part. Prior to application, the grapefruit seed extract has to be mixed with either olive oil or aloe, as it can be very strong. Use the solution sparingly. Grapefruit seed extract is certainly considered as a cold sore best remedy

3. Lysine. Lysine is an amino acid. And it is known to hasten the body's healing process, as far as cold sores are concerned, when taken regularly. Ideally, about 1,500 to 3,000 milligrams of Lysine should be administered daily. Take it between meals, more preferably with an empty stomach, as this cold sore best remedy works best in this condition.

4. Yogurt. Don't apply the yogurt on the cold sore, no. Yogurt is supposed to be eaten. Yogurt has high lysine content. You can switch to yogurt in case you run out of Lysine tablets. But then again, make sure that the yogurt you buy doesn't contain gelatin. Gelatin is known to induce cold sore outbreaks.

The cold sore best remedy is always within your reach. Don't allow yourself to suffer anymore from cold sores. Try these remedies today.

The Ugly Duckling Defeated for Good!
By Christine Medearis

There was a time in my life when self confidence, and self esteem could not be found. One of the battles that is waged against human nature had been launched against me, and I was fast becoming a casualty because of the attack. I did not have any allies, nor formal training, and when there is no knowledge, or know how in a war your enemy is sure to gain the upper hand of advantage.

I cried to the Lord for help and he being the awesome God that he is sent my rescuer. I've since been trained in combat to fight this particular kind of battle, and have been fully equipped with the knowledge, and have obtained the proper ammunition to wage war and maintain the victory, holding my ground and not giving up one inch of my territory.

You see, I had a major problem with blemishes, whiteheads, blackheads, dry and oily spots on my face. Also, I had big bags under my eyes. I tried many different remedies on the market and spent big bucks on them only to find that I was either allergic to them or they just plain didn't work for my face. Needless to say, I felt horrible about my appearance, and I wouldn't make eye contact with anyone because I felt that everyone judged me by the condition of my face. I really thought that I was an Ugly Duckling at one point in my life, but not anymore.

Because I've been exposed to a well kept secret by my friend, which allowed me to combat the wars of low self esteem and low confidence that plagued me day and night, I now have total victory. That well kept secret consist of using a specific skin care product twice a day. Because of this product my face has experienced an "Ultimate Miracle". No more blemishes, whiteheads, or dry and oily spots. Also, my eyes are firm with no appearance of bags anymore.

I'm so excited about my appearance, my self esteem and self confidence is on an all time high. I make full eye contact with everyone. I feel beautiful. I'm getting more attention now than I can handle. The "Ugly Duckling is Defeated for Good!

How To Remove Stretch Marks Without Surgery
By Markus Giancola

When people mention about stretch marks, their first thoughts are pregnancy, obesity, and body building. They develop due to the over stretching of the skin. They are a type of scarring with a silvery white hue. They usually form in the dermis. This is elastic middle layer that keeps the shape of the skin. They can appear anywhere on the body. Once they are developed, they are permanent as the affected area cannot be restored to its original form.

At first, stretch marks appear to be in reddish or purplish lines. If you take a closer look, they look like indented. They create different textures on the skin. As most people want to remove the stretch marks, skin care companies market various kinds of creams and lotions which claim to address these skin problems. However, most of them are not effective and not cheap. If you see doctors, oftentimes they will suggest surgery. Tummy tuck is one the common surgeries for stretch marks that developed below the abdomen. This procedure involves the removal of the skin below the navel.

For centuries, people use oil to condition their skin and enhance their beauty. One of the common oil that can help to reduce the appearance of stretch marks is vitamin E oil. If your stretch marks are recent, vitamin E oil is effective in treating them. However, the stretch marks will take some time to fade for older marks. If you plan to use vitamin E oil, use it daily especially after a bath.

Some creams are not effective in making your stretch marks disappear is because they cannot penetrate deep enough into the skin to repair the damage. Most customers are disappointed because they only relieve the itch caused the stretch marks. They could not prevent them from developing. However, there are a few creams in the market that get rid of stretch marks. They are effective because they contain active ingredients such as collagen, vitamin E, Retin A, and elastin.

You can even hide your stretch marks with makeup. However, if you spend a lot of time in water, then this is not the best solution. Alternatively, you can buy water-resistant cover-up products.

When you buy any topical treatment, make sure that everybody regardless of age can use it. It must be safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It should not cause any skin irritation.

Most important of all, it can penetrate deep into the skin so that the healing can take place from within.

Even though women are more prominent to stretch marks, this does not mean that men are exempted. You can't tell who is going to get them. Whether you have them now or later, they

Stretch marks are going to dampen your self esteem and confidence. No doubt, you can't remove them permanently but the least you can do is to reduce their appearance so that they don't look so obvious on your body.

What Soaps Are Good For Oily Skin?
By Louise Forrest

The next time you head to you mirror and detect that annoying sheen, you may want to consider a different facial cleanser. With so many of these products on the market, which one will meet your needs and control the oil that continues to seep from your pores?

Allouette makes a clarifying facial wash that could very well end your oily skin worries. This product is specially designed for oily skin or skin affected by acne. This wash will unclog your pores. It will also treat blackheads and those disgusting whiteheads that result from your oily skin. With its use you will be able to lift those impurities out of your skin while hydrating your dermal layer. Alpha and Beta hydroxides will gently remove dirt and dead skin cells without damaging the layers underneath.

The Clinique Derma White Purifying Bar is a gentle option created for combination oily and oily skin. This product draws the impurities from your skin while providing a soothing moisturizing effect. The end result is cleaner skin, clearer complexion and healthier skin color.

Burts Bees Garden Tomato Complexion Soap for Oily Skin is product that is milled by hand with natural ingredients. If you haven’t guessed already, the main ingredients in this soap are tomatoes. Tomatoes have always been considered to be natural sources for AHAs and lipocene.

These chemicals assist in balancing the pH level of your skin. This product also has a toning effect and can deal with enlarged pores. Considering the natural basis for this product, you can feel confident that you are not putting some lab experiment chemical on your face.

Neutrogena Dermatological Bar Soap is an old and trusted partner in the fight against oily skin.

This product is developed specifically to possess hypoallergenic properties. This is a positive selling point for those with oily and sensitive skin issues. Customer reviews put this product near the top of its class in performance and satisfaction. Neutrogena is cheaper than the Garden Tomato Soap mentioned earlier, but is developed in a lab. If this is a concern to you, you might want to explore other products for your oily skin.

L’Oreal provides their oily skin answer in the form of their HydraFresh Gel Cleanser. They recommend this product for nearly every skin condition and state that it is safe against must irritating effects. Unfortunately this product requires that you use other L’Oreal products to achieve maximum effect. This sales tactic can leave you penniless before you can get your desired results. This makes the HydraFresh Gel a product for people who like to fill their medicine cabinet and drain their bank account.

If none of the above interest you, you may want to try more natural alternatives recommended by physicians. For instance, mudpacks are great to drawing out oil and impurities. Remember the darker the mudpack, the better it is at drawing out oils. Please note that masks are not meant for deep pore cleaning. Good old hot water can be utilized, often with the same result as expensive store products. Combine the water with a little gentle soapsuds and you have a skin care answer that does not cost an arm and a leg.

Remember that oily skin is hereditary and not necessarily the result of bad skin care. If you continue having oily skin issues after treatments, you should seek out a physician to see if there are other prescribed methods of oily skin control.

Learn how you can be free of Oily Skin. All products are created with certified organic ingredients allowing you to treat your skin the way nature intended.
