Natural skin care products are skin care products with ingredients that are sourced naturally and do not contain harmful chemicals. These ingredients might be obtained through plants, or anything that is naturally formed and does not incorporate the use of chemicals. These products keep skin smooth, radiant, and toned - similar to other skin care products - but with ingredients that are obtained naturally. The effects of these ingredients are passed from word of mouth and scientific studies prove such benefits.
Most skin care products are made with synthetically produced chemicals that produces undesired side effects. An ideal natural skin care product is a product that has ingredients that are 100% natural and does not even contain chemical preservatives - although may not always be achievable. Popular ingredients for these natural products include sea salts, concentrated plant and flower extracts (essential oils), aloe vera, herbs, and are often times combined to achieve certain effects..
Sea salts, including dead sea salts are one of the main ingredients on some popular natural skin care products. These are popularly used in making aromatherapy bath salts and, more often than not, are combined with different essential oils to produce certain effects. Scientific tests have shown that the minerals in these salts are absorbed through the skin and to the bloodstream when used in soaking. Scientific studies were also done in essential oils - an example would be chamomile that has shown healing and anti-inflammatory effects.
The popularity of such ingredients also made it spread out to different skin care products. A great example would again be natural sea salts. Aside from being used as an additive to baths, these salts have also been used as main ingredients for cosmetics.
